| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2005 Updated: Jan 19, 2005Draught. Clear, dark copper colour. Foamy, lacey head. Caramelly, slightly spicy nose. The taste is roastmalty, slightly sweet. Hints of vanilla. Ends in a spicy, bitter finish, which is quite lasting. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy texture. I absolutely love this beer. ChrisPants (317), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Pours lightish redbrown with some head that disperses within a minute. Malty light caramel notes, finishes sharp hoppy. Above average, not wildly impressive. I would try again. Enjoyed chilled from bottle, poured into glass. SubstanceT (1091), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2004 Here’s a winner. Pours a medium brown with a nice beige head. The aroma is huge of toasted bread and malt. In the flavor there is lots of bread and toasted malt flavor with balancing bitterness that tends to linger.
