Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly neutral, dark malts, coffee, dark sugar, grass, nuts, almonds, a hint of vanilla. Taste is watery, slightly harsh and grassy, dark malts, vanilla essence, grass, sour coffee, unripe banana. Longlasting harsh bitterness. Try again guys!

ok carbo, smokey coffee, but not smoked-taste.

Thx! to Kraddel. 33 cl. bottle sampled. Black with virtually no mocha head. Nose is sweet, soy sauce, lightly smoked, dark malts, touch meaty,... Taste is bitter, mocha, lightly roasted, soy sauce, light vintage notes, touch chocolate, light roasted chocolate, bitter herb finish, no vanilla. m/m body. Downer - not much to get exited about / wrong promise.

Sample from tap, CBF 2013. Black with a thick, creamy tan head. Roasted aroma with rich malts: Coffee, caramel and chocolate. Vanilla. Taste is sweet and roasted. Full body, super creamy texture, average carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted with lots of coffee and chocolate. Excellent and rich porter, no sign of the 10 % abv.

Flaske: Kulsort let olieret øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er lækker og fuld af kaffe og vanilie. Mundfylden er lidt tynd i forhold til 10% og der mangler lige den sidste power for at få den helt op at ringe karaktermæssigt. Men lækker øl er det bestemt.

Bottle at max kolonihave, 23/5 3013. Very dark, big brown head, nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Taste, a lot off coffee, sweet vanilla, bitter aftertaste, some booze. Nice body. Great beer.

Dark Chocolate, coffee, caramel and vanilla meets you in the aroma. It’s all black with a large creamy head. It’s smoth and a bit creamy with taste of dark chocolate and coffee. I take a bow for Ugly Duck.

one of the best ports i have tasted. great aroma of coffee with a slight hoppy aroma. the right appearance total black with a fine foam, Great taste of coffee and hops.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Valkendorfsgate. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt and vanilla with notes of dark chocolate, dark fruits, hops and citrus. Sweet and roasty with nice coffee flavour and a well balanced bitterness. Full bodied and quite smooth with well integrated alcohol. Tasty, flavourful and surprisingly nice. I’m not a huge fan of vanilla in beer (except Southern Tier’s Creme Brulee Stout) but it’s well integrated and fits quite well with the other flavours. Nice!
