COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crockett and Tubbs were to the drug world of Miami the same as the hops in this beer - a means to balance tings out. In the beers case the fresh citrussy hops balances the grains and gives you a sense of calm. A sense of what pale ales used to be under the sun, of good times and careless days. This is a tribute to the series that ran from 1984-1990 and what can we say about Miami Vice that hasn’t already been said, except that it is the greatest TV show ever made in the history of television.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Festival. This never made it past the point of ’decent’ with me. Although to be fair, i’ve had zombie dust just a couple of hours before.

Aftertaste: bitter ending, resinous touch, grapefruit, citrus, hint of strawberry, jam.

(Bottle, 0 33 l - BB 16.09.2015, at Pikkulintu, 20141103) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, pine, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitness, sweetness, pine, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A pretty straightforward pale ale with somewhat musty overall feeling.

Bottle 0.33l at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. BBE 16.09.2015. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, citrus, pine, hops and malts. Very typical Danish APA. Nothing special but nothing to complain. Good hop profile but Danish cat piss ruins it. Crocketov & Tubbski Rocks!

Obtained in a trade with Dedollewaitor. Thx! 330 ml. bottle split by 4 @ “The Tasting formerly known as Mons RBBAG I (2014)”. BBF 30/06/2015. Light hazy amber, creamy light off-white head. Creamy malt orange nose, light orange hop, fruity, touch pine hops, marmalade. Taste is caramel malt, light orange, fruity orange peel, pine, fruity hops, light herbal hops going into a marmalade / dried peel finish. Low carbonation. Drinks very well & very easily.
