330 ml bottle, as Ugly Duck IPA Simcoe & Chinook, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.9%. Hazy amber to brown colour, large white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma of American hops, fruity and mild piney notes. Rather sweet (too sweet?) flavour of crystal malts, followed by resinous hops. Bitter aftertaste. Not bad, but not perfectly balanced.

[5/2/13] Draught at Ølbaren in Copenhagen. Clear deep red-amber color with a white head. Great hoppy tropical fruits aroma. Lovely flavor of piney and fruity hops with refreshing bitterness. Medium-bodied. Great, hoppy and quaffable.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Barley Wine in Copenhage. Pours clear, bright gold with a moderate, frothy white head. Lightly, dry doughy malts in the nose, some mango, tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavor, some light grass, tangerine, papaya, pineapple. Light to medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Some moderately resinous, rindy citrus to finish, a bit of orange and tangerine, some papaya, lightly tangy pineapple, decent sweet pale malts. A decent overall IPA.

Draft @ Bishops Arms Marina Plaza, Helsingborg. Pours a hazy orange color with a white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Bottle kvadrat. Colden unclear with medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of citrus, pine needles and hops. Fruity flavour of citrus peel, hops and pine. Hoppy and fresh finish

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, mandarin, passion fruit and crystal malt. Malty, hoppy taste with crisp-bread, crystal malt, citrus, apricots and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly dry. Well balanced and tasty. Nice one.
