COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
There is nothing ugly about Christmas... This Imperial Brown just makes you feel like spreading joy to friends and loved ones. Well, maybe that could end up being a bit ugly. Try to stay calm and think less about the material things, stop obsessing over presents and spend your time and energy on the drinks and foods of Christmas - this beer for example. Hops: Cascade, Citra Malts: Pilsner, Caramel, Münchner,Oats.

Copenhagen 5/3 2016. 33 cl bottle from Gunnar Madsen Vinhandel. After Christmas Sale. Strange drawing of Disney like duck beak with Christmas Hat on the label. Pours dark reddish brown with big off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick creamy layer of foam with heavy lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma is sweet. Brown sugar, licorice, roasted malts, fruity sourness and notes of booziness. Soft carbonation and thick oily palate. Flavor is quite intense with a heavy, thick sweetness. A bitter sourness in the aftertaste. I drank it to my lunch which consisted of greasy pizza slices. But the ugly Christmas brew torpedoed the grease with a sweet sour intensity - and a little Christmas atmosphere even though the calendar shows beginning of March.

Dark brown with a big frothy head and medium lacing. Aroma of citrus and caramell. Taste sourich, dried figs, caramell and nuts. Aftertaste builds up a quite hoppy taste. Some orange in the end. Not so big x-mas feeling as could be, but a nice brown ale.

Farven er mørk mahogni og skumkronen er lysebrun. romaen er karamel, frugt og humle, medens smagen er kaffe, nødder og humle. Igen et pletskud fra Ugly Duck

Look; fawn good top, ultra dark brown body, I assume. Aroma; very fresh piney hops, nutty coffee cocoa malts. Taste; nutty coffee malts, coffeinish hops, nice blend, roasted finish with nuts n dates. Solid body. Eve sipper, not too much yuletide. [Btl at BlaRock]
