N2 on tap at Darby's. Nice lookin beer with dense cascade and creamy, tan cap. Quite dark brown base. No lacing, but cap retention is good. Gets caught in a moustache quite well. Aroma of milk chocolate, nuts, hint of coffee, lactose. Taste is gently sweet. Good body. Creamy.

Cool idea and cool poor technique. I loves texture of a nitro stout so this is going well so far. Pours a huge off-white creamy head atop an opaque body.Nose of chocolate granules and cold coffee in a filter. Flavour is slightly thin and overly sweet but the smoothness is wonderful. They should aim for more of an ashy and coffee front and the texture will take this into the 4* realm. Nice.

(355ml bottle) Purchased at Liquor Plus Douglas - part of the Parallel mixed box. Pours a large brown head and a black body. Nose has hints of ash. Very smooth, some roastiness and filtered cold coffee. Good.

Dark brown color. Sweet chocolatey nose with some lactos, toffee and hazelnut. Sweet lacto mouth with milk chocolate and nuts, but lack the complexity of the nose. A touch sour. Lingering chocolate finish. Starts great, but is nothing more than a fading star.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Black color wit the expected persistent creamy nitro head. The aroma is very mild, gets one point less because the nitrogen is shielding it. Smooth mouthfeel; I can sense the sweetness, and a milky touch, while the roastiness is definitively low, and the bitterness even more; lactose in the end; but overall severely impacted by the nitrogen.

Draught at Au Petit Chauvignol, Vancouver
Black color. The aroma is mild. The flavor is mild as well but nice, soft dark malts, with lactose, light residual sweetness, light body, low bitterness.
Easy but pleasant.
