Fromerly named as Janáček Comenius Speciál Světlé 14°.
It is a product which is characterised by the fullness, strong body and slightly mead-caramel flavouring. The merit of this beer is also its very delicate bitterness. 6.0 % alcohol vol.

Big offwhite head. Coppery body with strong carbonation. Floral honey aroma with linoleum notes. Dry-sweetish grassy resiny strawy taste with lots of that weird linoleum. Mid-bodied. Faint buttery notes. Dry grassy strawy aftertaste. Quite nice. Certainly has character. (0.33l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty finish with some caramel hints in the aftertaste. Also some bitterness in the aftertaste.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2010 Bottled. Crystal clear, deep golden colour with white head. Aroma reveals dewy butterscotch, pale, bit sharp maltiness, due to the reasonably high abv. Bit boozy, sharp maltiness and flavour. No butterscotch here. Hard mouthfeel. Bit too sweet for the style. The booziness stays forever.Low bitterness. Really dull Bohemian Pilsener, and a good example of what happens with a beer style when you boost the abv.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Big blond head, dark pilsner golden body. Clean, discreet malt aroma. Grassy/earthy hops in the background. Taste is rounded, evenly malty and bitter, with a honey-ish sweetness, and a touch of herbs (tea leafs?). Soft in the mouth. A fine bitterness in the ending. Overall, a clean, drinkable pilsener.

Tjeckisk lager med en hel stege av nyanser. Lĺngt ifrĺn spektakulär, men klart njutbar. Kraften finns där, liksom en beska som förser upplevelsen med en passande ram.

On tap. Golden color with a huge creamy head. Caramel, butter and some hops. The beer was a disappointment in terms of taste, it felt a bit unbalanced. There was something in the taste that I could not quite put my finger on. Thin and watery not particularly exciting.
