Bottle; had this many years ago, guess I never rated it. Poured an orange-caramel color; with a firm off white head. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, earth, fruit, flowers and must. Flavor was nice and solid. Caramel and bread up, moving to earthy, alcohol and fruity flavors.

Treacle. Sweet and thick. The hops get overwhelmed by this thick, unctuous treacley sweetness. One is OK. More than that is just not pleasant. This is not a good APA, itís almost like a cautious home brew. Would like a t shirt of the label though.

Bottled 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove. Orange gold with white head. Quite a sweetish malt flavour, lemon with light sugariness. Simple hop notes which struggle against the sweetness. Easy drinking pale but lacks bitterness.

Bottle at The Grove, Huddersfield. Amber pour with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma with some fruit and hop notes. Similar flavour. Hoppage seems a little stifled giving this a slightly poor balance. Vague metallic tang lurking in the shadows. Drinkable but pretty unspecatcular fodder.

Pours pale amber with thick creamy off-white head and foamy lacing. Predominately notes of spruce or pine. Balanced taste a bit on the bitter side, but not overly so. Crisp and pleasant drinking.

bottle. Pours great looking copper orange with medium sized frothy yellow tinged head, quintessential APA look. Aroma is more malty than hoppy, featuring cake and light citrus notes. Flavor is pretty balanced, a blueberry pound cake malt backbone with the hops coming through more on the finish, citrus and apricot. Less hoppy than most APAs out there right now, itís actually a nice change of scenery, although there are enough of a hop presence to give it a decidedly crisp bite. Medium bodied, creamy, and highly sessionable, this is a classic american session pale ale, could drink it till i drop.

Bottle. Dark bronze beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly floral, malty and hopped, and the flavour is mildly spiced and hopped with a fairly long heavily bitter finish. Overall a reasonable quite strongly hopped and bitter beer with a touch of spice.
