Anglers Pale Ale is the quintessential Northwest American Style Pale Ale. Copper in color with distinctive hoppy notes and malty influences, Anglers Pale Ale is well balanced and refreshing. To drink Anglers Pale Ale is to toast those who cast the line and understand the lure of the chase. Anglers Pale Ale is a celebration of all great story tellers, whether the tales spun are of fishing or not, and to those who seek places of beauty and solitude. It’s about the day’s catch as well as the journey. Carpe Diem!

A nice hop aroma with some caramel in it too. Flavor also has some hops and a graininess with a bit of caramel too. Very nice. One of my new favorite pale ales.

If you love hops this is your beer. Nice and crisp with a super hoppy aroma. Also try the light version, Cutthroat.

Bottle via douglas88 - thanks! Bottled on 11/28/07 and drunk 05/16/08. Lychee, peach, caramel aroma, reminds a bit of Stone. Copper-orange body with an off-tan head. Lovely caramel and fruit aroma, lots of flattened hops - reminds strongly of a good, strong Barleywine, something of a dull Bigfoot. There’s an enormous amount of flavor here - a powerhouse, and from Utah! Touch of a fumy off-note toward the back detracts, but the long caramel-soaked, hoppy aftertaste more than makes up.

Uniquely deep copper color...slightly hazy. Thick, fluffy head that laces well. Floral aroma of hops. Unusually sweet hop flavor up front...pretty smooth mouthfeel for the style. Back has a maltiness subtle enough to not overpower, but strong enough to mask any potential hop bite. Extremely balanced finish. One of the best pale ales I’ve ever had...very well built.

12 oz, bottled 04/21/08. Clear, orange-copper, with a two-finger lasting head. Grapefruit and earthy honeycomb nose. Molasses, grapefruit, resin, dried wood and toasty walnut flavors. Near-medium body is smooth, tingly and dry.

nice amber color with a good off white colored head. Aroma had biscuts, citrus, and a little bit of foral kind of typical for an APA. The flavor is gret, very drinkable the cascade hops gasve it a good bitterness and a sligtly citrus accent. I enjoyed this beer, could make a great session APA.

First beer from Utah!!! Hoppy, not as balanced as the New River I had before but a very good APA. A bit more bitter than the previous sampling. Good beer, I’m sure this company makes a very fine product.

12 oz - Purchased at Perfect Pour. Amber, thin creamy white head. Soft floral citrus aromas rest on notes of toasted caramel and grains. Moderately dry floral and orangey citrus flavors balance on a lightly sweetened toffee malt backbone. A very nice hop bitterness is present from start to finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not sure what else you could want from a sessionable pale ale. Well crafted in my book...
