3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice clear caramel brown color with a moderate off-white head that stays around. Some nice lace on the glass as well. The nose is nutty with hints of chocolate caramel and biscuit with earthy and grassy hops. The taste starts nutty with toasty with hints of toffee and hazelnuts. The end is grainy with a slightly bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel but very quaffable. Overall a good beer, easy drinking for sure...

Yellow Brown pour dense tan head.aroma of soil, chickory, roasts. Tastes nutty, slight tart, woody, some black pepper. Could use less carb, acidity and more creaminess.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz best before March 14, 2014 from Wallabyís. What we have here is a very true to style brown ale. The pour is rich brown with a tall khaki head. As I smell the beer, I recall how awful Bristolís Single Hop IPA was. I canít shake that scarring memory so quickly. The funny thing is, I want to rave about how amazing Uintaís Bristlecone is now, simply because itís a good, clean, well made beer. Iím trying to be a little objective here. The aroma is malty with plenty of hints at nuts and toasted bread. Solid palate. As I drink this I am shocked that itís 4%. Sure itís pretty mellow, but it doesnít skimp on flavor. The flavor is made up of balanced toasty notes, nuts, light dashes of caramel. Itís a clean and balanced beer. This is a highly sessionable ale. I donít much get into the brown ale style, so I might not be fully appreciating this. But it is a solid, solid beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pour is a clear brownish amber with a light tan fluffy head. Aroma is caramel, roasted nuts, and hops. Taste is about the same, a nice flavorful but mild nutty malt with a slight hop bitterness, but overall clean finish. A decent amount of flavor for such a low ABV.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is roasty, brown sugar, nutty, bready. Pours slightly hazy brownish-amber with a collapsing beige head. Taste is sweet and nutty with a bitter hop finish. Mouthfeel is a little watery, which given the low ABV, would make this a great session beer in the summer. Nice brown ale.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle-Pours clear dark reddish orange with a nice one finger off white head with good retention and cobwebby lace. I get hops off the bat surprisingly enough, nice piney hops (or Bristlecone pine), then the sweet malt comes through. The taste is typical brown ale flavors, only with a dry hoppy finish. Great beer, and the ABV makes it super sessionable!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear dark amber/brown color with a thick off white head, medium density. Aroma is of fruity malts, grain, earthiness, little roast, and chocolate. Lighter bodied, tingly carbonation hits the top of my mouth. Flavors include toasted malts, roastiness, dark chocolate, leaves, and earthiness. Has a toasted malt finish. Nothing special. Session style brown.
