3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly cloudy gold with 5mm of tan head. Aroma is tart lychee, raspberry, some blueberry, touch of pineapple and pear juice, bit of candied cherry. Body is medium-light, watery-oily, slightly starchy, moderate carbonation, moderate-strong burn. Flavor is quite tart ,slightly orange-lychee juice, bit of lemon. Crisp and clean tart-fruity beer. Less yeastiness than I would expect, maybe a slight bit of dry/hard cheese. Very good, quaffable sour ale!

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. This beer is really unique. The aroma comes is a bit apple juice with a nice malt backbone. When it hits the palate, bam!, smacked with sour. Man, then it gets complicated. Taste saves this beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a cloudy apricot with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells tart and citrusy with a bit of biscuit as well. Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart semi-dry mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Pours a hazy orange color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of mildly funky fruit, spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart citrus, funky yeast and biscuit malt, as well as some mild spice in the background. The finish is funky citrus and herbal yeast. Pretty good all around.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
2014 750mL bottle drunk 2/9/15
Clear burnished-gold body is topped by a small, neatly retained off-white head.
Strong notes of acetic acid and light red fruits dot the nose, while there is a bit of musty/horsey character as well. What it dosent have is any brett tartness or real prominent funk. Strength is medium with no alcohol noted.
A shot of acetic acid up front starts things off promisingly, but it quickly is washed away by an exceedingly thin texture resulting in a finish that is somewhat bland and decidedly off-putting. My friend said "wet dog" and it’s not far from that. Certainly not pleasant, though it’s not overly offensive either. Don’t think they got the intended result here, not really sure what this strange flavor is, it’s not actually the horseblanket you associate with brett and there is no bright sourness that you’d associate with lacto/pedio. Weird. Poured the rest of ’er down the drain.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle worth bubbly white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of sour fruit and funky barnyard back end. Taste is way more toward the tart sour with a metallic middle and a nice lactic sweet back end. Bubbly and effervescent, clean yet intense.
