From the 11/2014 3R6P gathering. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange-amber color with an enormous fluffy orange-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with sour patch candies and hints of pepper and chalk. The flavor was very sour, tart and fruity with citric acid, sour patch candies and yeast. Long tart and sour citric acid finish. Medium body. Interesting.

Tap @ Prefunk: cloudy gold color with no head. Flat vinegar aroma, sour cream. Super acidic flavor and sour to the max. Pretty tasty for the style, not as sweet as others.

[Bottle (750ml) shared with GregClow, Radek, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m] Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing bubbly white head. Aroma is sour and citrusy along with some herbs, grain and wheat. Flavour of sour citrus, light herbs and a bit of wood in the finish. Average bodied. A bit too one-dimensional for me, the Farmhouse aspect of it gets lost.

Sampled via bottle at WTWBA 2014 in Minneapolis. Golden pour. Really nice tart and sour citrus in this. Bold. I really liked this one.

2014-09-26. Hazy yellow orange body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma has a touch of cereal grains, strangely but pleasantly fruity. Flavour is sharply sour up front but becomes refreshingly so after a few sips. Light lemon character lingers, lemon rind and pith. Smooth avg bodied palate, modest carbonation. 3+ Tasty. Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo

Bottle, as pictured. Very very different. Cool. Fits the bill of a sour farmhouse. Hazy golden yellow pour. Sour but not a total pucker. Little bit of spice and heavy on the citrus.

(bottle) hazy pale golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of heavy cactus juice, some yeast, powdered sugar and a light hint of nettles. flavour is mostly raw beef, yeast and almonds, with a light citric tartness, some floral hops and popcorn. light- to medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle. Heavy grain for the malt, light lemon for the hops, moderate musty for the yeast, with apple, wood, honey and vinegar in the background. Head is small to average, fizzy, white with no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky medium amber. Flavor starts heavily acidic and sour, then finishes heavily acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a tart finish. Clean, crisp and tasty Sour Ale, yet remains easy to drink.
