4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
(750ml bottle). Pours hazy copper with cascading off-white head 3 fingers tall. Active carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of hopfunk, citrus, pine. Taste is bitter with sweetness punching through. Balanced nicely. Medium bodied with creamy (the head that never dies) and oily texture. This is a smooth IPA. Very good. I waited to try this why?? Would definitely get again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Magnum from the rip and run. At $7 for the corked and caged bottle, this was quite a deal. My third Unita brew is so far the best. Nose of hops malts and then more hops. Even the cork reeks of hops ripening on the vine. 9.5%??!!!!?? YMBM! this is highly consumable, for I drank the whole damn thing before dinner. Sticky spotty lacing retains itself on the glass and must be scrubbed off. A lovely lighter golden in the glass. Medium to full bodied but not overpowering in the least. Hop nose lingers and is quite pleasant on this windy day. Head was fluffy to start but settled fast. Light carbonation. The dude abides.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 11/4/10
Aroma: The nose is sweet and hoppy, there’s some caramel, toast, fresh grapefruit, and orange
Appearance: A cloudy mahogany colored beer with a thick, lasting, off-white head leaving coating lace
Flavor: The taste big sweet up-front, citrus and malts, with a pronounced bitter, hoppy backing
Palate: The body of this one is medium-full, and this one is scarily drinkable considering the ABV
This is a really good beer, surprisingly good even. At "only" a 94, I would actually say this one is slightly underrated, and considering how easy it is to drink this stuff, at almost 10% it is pretty dangerous. This is the best beer I have had from Uinta by far, and I look forward to drinking this one again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Coppery amber, large frothy white head, sticky lacing.   Sweet citrusy nose, hoppy, a smidgen of wood that seems like freshly shaven cedar.   Certainly hoppy on the tongue, straight forward, soft citrus rind, mild maltiness.   Seems like a stronger IPA, but not in the realm of an IIPA.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate, smooth but yet not very thick or big.   Finish is bitter, but not biting.   Could stand to be a touch sweeter, more floral or at least more citrusy.   Its also not very heavy.   IPA, sure... IIPA, don’t thinks so.   Alcohol is well hidden tho.

22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a clear amber color with a two finger thick off white head. Nice thick lacing. Aroma is floral, pine, and citrus hops with light toasted malt. Flavor is lightly sweetened toasted malt with esters and floral hops. The beer really coats the tongue. Medium to full body. A nice beer.

Bottle at SBWF 2010.
Clear golden with a medium white head. Fruity hoppy aroma. The taste was also fruity with a nice bitterness. Quite sweet with a rather heavy body. Good stuff.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml coriander caged bottle from Jonathan Ron Brielle. Pours a rusty orange body with a large frothy light beige head. Aroma is far fruitier then I was expecting. Tons of tropical fruit mangos, apricots, kiwi, citrus pulp, touch of carmalized sugar, fresh cereal, wet hops and a hint of alcohol. Medium to slightly lighter bodied with average to slightly strongest carbonation. A fair touch of bitterness and a hint of alcohol heat on the finish. Flavor isn’t as fruity as the aroma with notes of toast, grains, grapefruit and citrus rind. Interesting and worth the $7.50 price that I picked this one up for.
