Detour blazes the trail for fresh and bold Double IPAs. Four varieties of hops combine to step up the flavor profile. A hoppy adventure that finishes dry. Big in alcohol and character. Venture to pair with other spirited flavors such as those found in spicy ethnic foods.

Aroma of floral hops and fruit. Bright and fresh. Green peaches. Bitter finish. Light malt profile for such a high abv. Alcohol well hidden. Nice.

From a 12 of 4. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a nice golden with lots of frothy white sticky head. Dank floral aroma. Thick mouthfeel as to be expected. Taste is thick skunky dank with lots of pine resin and underripe mango. Alcohol and bitterness are very present throughout. Overall a solid but not great IIPA. Would drink again but not necessarily buy again. There's just so much high quality competition in this segment. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

floral and pine resin with a caramel/sweet fruit maltiness in the aroma..a slightly cloudy amber orange color with white quarter inch head ample lacing..taste piney hops with some floral and sour citrus,a bit spicy in the midrange and raisin.caramel and sweet fruits in the back..slick and sticky palate, drier finish..overall it’s a hop bomb maybe a little on the dry side but refreshing and very pleasant drinking and not pricey Ill be buying this again

Drank from bottle. Aroma is floral, citrusy, and herbal. Tastes of pineapple, orange, and mango. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, has a small oily feel to it. Nice bitter aftertaste that holds on for the right amount of time. Good beer

Great throwback label on an embossed slope-shouldered bottle. Looks like the art that used to be on the side of produce crates. Clear, rusty orange beer, big stiff foam head. High appearance marks. Edgy hop aroma over caramel malts. A short, mineral prelude followed by assertive hop bitterness - dry, starchy, a little tannic/red ale character, grapefruit pith. Alcohol bitterness going into the finish. Resonating woody bitterness in the finish. Technically pretty good, but nothing much to distinguish it from the legion 2xIPA, AIPA’s out there. ABC, Bull Run.

Orange-copper, clear, off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt, hint of caramel, piney-resiny hops. Flavor: clean, grainy malt with a little biscuit, firm resiny bitterness, hop flavors of pine and citrus, some fruity notes, finish has lingering bitterness but is not harsh. Well made.

Bottle. Clear copper with a big fluffy white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is citrus, caramel and slight resin. Taste adds some pine and moderate alcohol. Smooth medium mouthfeel with moderate carb. Solid.

Had twice now reviewed poured from a 12 oz bottle from a 4 pack a deep orange with a nice white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy & flavor matches. Quite rich & balanced with malts making this an above average DIPA.

12 oz bottle pours a dark, deep orange. Nice head, quickly dissipates. Great aroma of dank, sweet hops. The initial taste disappoints a little bit at first. Loads of hop bitterness but not the sweet balance that i expect from the style. Not bad though. Very smooth finish for the high ABV.
