Dull amber brew with some off-white head. Aromas of pumpkin, spices, some vanilla - lacking overall. Flavor is pumpkin, cinnamon and other spices. Didn’t get much oak out of this one.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark copper pour with a light brown head. Aroma is pumpkin, spices, oak. Taste is oak that mellows out the pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin pie in a liquid form. Oaky and dry. Alcohol is well hidden. Great lacing. Little sweet, and thick. IMHO, the best pumpkin beer I tasted this 2014 season.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... Pours clear and burnt-orange with copper highlights and a mid-sized, creamy, beige head. The aroma offers pumpkin, then vanilla, then spices, and then caramel - in order of big to subtle. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is a holiday swirl of pumpkin, sweet vanilla, caramel and a healthy quantity of tannic bitterness. Bittersweet long-lasting finish. Very nice!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Large 2014 bottle.
Pours red-brown with a fine head that leaves ample sticky lacing.
Flavor matches Uinta’s description, with vanilla, oak and bourbon from the barrel aging, medium and dark malts, and pumpkin and pumpkin spices.
Weaknesses are a less than optimal blend of flavors and overly obvious high ABV. The aroma is not plaqued by these issues and, consequently, is better than the flavor.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful clear brown/amber pour with thin tan head. Aromas of caramell and spice. Very malty with the brewer-stated hints of bourbon. Not much flavor of the pumpkin spice, but extrememely smooth sipping and mouthfeel.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma has caramel spices and a bit of pumpkin. The appearance is deep amber. The taste is like the aroma but a bit cardboard like. The palate is smooth. Overall this is decent but not all that.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer gas plenty of faults. The first sip feels flat with hints of what could be something great. There is a bit of pumpkin in the middle with a mild spicy. The rest falls flat at the end

Dark amber to brown color with creamy head. Fruity, sweet, spicy aroma, with rum traces. Sweet malty flavor, biscuity, rum, raisins, and moderate spices. Warming alcohol in the final. Excellent.
