750ml bottle - thanks to bu11zeye. Pours golden yellow. Not much in the aroma department - slight saaz hop tinge. Metalic. I expected a lot more flavor out of an imperial pilsner. Disappointing.

Copper pour, white head. Lager yeast, earthy notes, white bread, very light hops. Flavor is lagery, yeasty, bready, light caramel. Not bad at all.

750 ml bottle from cbkschubert. Nose is light malty caramel with some light floral hopiness. Crystal clear yellow gold with a small pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with caramel for the backbone.

Sweet nose of strong grassy hops, bready malts, fruity sweet notes as well. Pours golden, lightly chill hazy with a thin head. The flavor is grassy and peppery, bready and malty with sweetness that is definitely noticeable but not over the top. I actually thought it drank rather well for 9% though. Not the best but by far not the worst.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Pours a clear, deep yellow with a sheeting white head. Aroma of honey, malt, cherries, and sweet syrup. Taste is malty, boozy, spicy, with a palate that is powdery dry. But as this warms and I spend more time with it, the nose really devolves quite a bit. What was sweet with some oddities now smells like diabetic, sugar heavy urine; cherry powder, even a bit of poopy toilet. Something old and fusel in character is making itself known. Taste is trash malty, powder, flour, bland corn starch. Really just a definitive drain pour. Really just unenjoyable. Vile, gag-reflex on the palate.

Bottle: Pours a light amber color with nice head. The nose is sweet and fruity with a strong lager and hop note. The body is big and sweet. A nice imperial pilsner but a bit too aleish and sweet.

Bottle, 75cl, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a small, diminishing off-white head. Some cellary notes in the aroma, which is otherwise grainy and fruity. The flavor has some unclean notes, can’t really identify it. Alcohol, grains and fruity hops. Nice bitterness. Full-bodied and warming, finishing quite bitter. Some grainy, fruity flavors too. A decent one, but not a style a see any sensible use for. 100814

Sampled at SBWF-10 Golden. Mediyum white head. Malty and hoppy in both aroma and flavour. Pretty sweet with low bitterness.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 12/12/10

Aroma: The nose is musty malts, clean grassy hops, and some fruity notes as well
Appearance: It pours a hazy golden-orange color with a bubbly white head, light lace
Flavor: Grassy in flavor, with moderate (plus) malty sweetness and bitter, hoppy, and boozy finish
Palate: A Medium bodied offering with a fairly long duration, soft carbonation, and mild ABV burn
Overall Impression: This beer is a little difficult to rate, after every sip my opinion of it seemed to change. I like what was attempted here, but there is just something about it I don’t love. There is something that is hard to pinpoint that is clearly off with this one. It doesn’t have the best aftertaste either. Not a bad beer, but I have to deduct a bit for that "off" feel I am getting.

A hazy golden pour with a very small white head. The aroma is Saaz hops with light malt and some grain. This beer came in a beautiful 750 ml. bottle with a cork and cage. Excellent marketing but the product inside doesn’t come close to matching it. Some light spice is a dominant theme but is not big at all. Unfortunately, that is the biggest and best thing going in this beer. There is some grass and some grain. Alcohol is overdone.
