0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
In short: A gross yellow beer of some kind. A mess.
How: Bottle 750ml. Consumed fresh soon after receiving it from footbalm as a bonus.
The look: Clear yellow body topped by a quickly receding white head
In long: Nose is some kind of cross between an Asian deep fried banana dessert and candied apples with a band-aid touch. Taste is yellow jelly beans, sponge cake, white sugar, ripe bananas, canned pears, band-aids, candied apples. Annoyingly sweet. Body is extremely oily and the mouthfeel is sickening. That beer is a total trainwreck. I really didn’t expect that. I haven’t been so simultaneously surprised and grossed out since the day I accidentally sat on my blind-date’s colostomy bag

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
750 ml cork and caged bottle from Jonathan Ron Brielle. Poured a dark copper with a very full foamy bright white head. Aroma has lots of notes of grape juice with some wet bread. Medium/full body with average carbonation and a disipating head. Flavor is grainy with some dough and bread crusts along with you guessed it, white grapes. This is just an odd style, pilseners don’t need to be imperialized.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750mL bottle. Poured crystal-clear, bright orange with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up bready notes and honey with sour lemony accents.. smelled a little brash, but aiight. The flavor found more of the honey and lesser bready malts at the semi-sweet core.. lemon zest led in spicing up the edges, along with dry, subtle earth and some prickly alcohol.. warm on the finish, with enough residual sugars to keep it partially in check. Medium-bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. a tad sharp at times.. warmed up the belly. This was decent on all fronts.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear gold with a large eggshell head. Smells of sweet crackery malt and subtle grass. Falls a bit flat on flavor though. Sweet and biscuity and nothing else. Vaguely Belgian tasting.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 c&c from Ace in Boulder, CO. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is something spice/citrus. Med body/frothish carb. Flavor is pale malt with a lot of herby/grassy/spice hop. Still think there’s some citrus/fruit lurkin in it. It’s near lush. Drinks incredibly well. Not a hint of heat. Excellent.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
25.4 oz, bottled 6/9/10. Almost clear lemon straw with a fluffy white head. Nose is dough and citrus pith; very soft. Medium body with zesty carb. Taste is citrus honey, grass, melon and orange peel. Pretty good for an IP; actually drinkable without the usual massive malts and alcohol but still packs a kick.
