2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a deep straw with a white head.
Hoppy, malty aroma, butterscotch, caramel, apricot, slightly grainy, hints of funk?
Off-dry, medium body, high bitterness, balanced CO2.
Hoppy, malty taste, quite grainy and robust, the hops feel rather oxidized and over the hill, there are some disturbingly funky elemnts emerging as it warms up. Very odd. (2013-04-16)

Pours a clear golden-amber in color with a foamy 2-finger thick white head. Smells of caramel, honey, grass, bit of peach. Taste is bitter and sweet - grassy hops, caramel, biscuits, a hint of dark breads.

OK, this was bottled in 2011, something I missed, but Iíve had rogues long past due date and it was still very drinkable and very good. This smells like whiskey and tastes like corn and honey and booze. Aweful imperial impilsner.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. One of the better pilsners I've had. Lots of biscuity malt. Surprisingly tasty.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Corn, yeast, pale malt, grassy hop, lemon and berry aroma. Very clear orange and yellow color. Good head retention. Taste is much more lager than pilsner, grassy and fruity as well as corn.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml corked and caged bottle. Bottled 1/4/13. Pours almost clear copper with a large off-white head with excellent retention; leaves behind decorative lacework. Aroma is doughy, lemony, biscuity, caramelly. Taste is lightly sweet before turning bitter mid-palate and remaining that way through the somewhat long finish. Has the nice bready flavor that I look for in this style, along with a strong hop counterpoint. Alcohol is noticeable, but itís not boozy--always a plus. Has a creamy mouthfeel; fairly big body, soft carbonation. I like me a good Imperial Pils, and this is one.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at craft ale house. Pours clear yellow with a small white head and tons of carbonation. The aroma has some light grass, mild grain, a little of your typical lager yeast notes. The taste is a big, biscuit beer with a very light hop finish. Easy to drink for the style.
