Pours deep gold with a thick off white head. Aroma is unremarkable, spent malt with a hint of booze. Flavor is hoppy, spicy, again with a hint of booze. The malt comes through in the finish, the alcohol warms as it goes down. Nice mouth feel.

Bottle. Pours clear dark gold with an average, frothy white head, medium-short retention with good lacing. Aroma is grain, cereal, and meal malt with spicy hops and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant with light corn notes, some fruit, medium hops and bitterness, alcohol and a sweet finish. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Arielís place. Thanks Ariel. Pours hazy blond with white head. Smells sweet - honey and malt. Tastes sweet, too sweet, malty and old. Medium body and not really pilsner.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Arielís place. Thanks Ariel. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of stale hops and a bit of malt. Sweet malty flavor with some honey, a bit of fruitiness and a slightly drier finish with a bit of cardboard. Medium-bodied. Not good, seems old.

Aroma is light spicy european hops with a hint of cereals and light grain. Appearance is clear fizzy yellow with a nice head. Taste is light hops and light malt, alcohol is well hidden. Palate is think and drinkable. Overall I was really surprised. There isnít a lot of whallop here in terms of flavor or aroma but it is just a pils and it goes down like one despite the ABV.

Pours a bronze color with a booming off-white head that sheds some thick lacing. The aroma smells bready, medicinal, and somewhat zesty, with orange blossom, lemon scented dishwashing detergent, flowers, saaz hops, cough drops. This is smoother than expected, or as the aroma suggests. The medicinal notes, which are strong in the scent seem to take a back seat here but donít completely disappear. Lots of sweet bread, herbal hops, and some caramel flavors noted. Perhaps sweet hay and grass too. After buying this, I see that the bottle is a little old. Maybe not a bad thing if itís toned down. A bit dry and bitter in the finish but the sweetness prevails. Could stand to be lower in alcohol but I generally feel that way about any Pilsner approaching 7% or so. Not a bad beer though, just not one Iíll need to revisit.
