3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 harrisoni (10911) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 22, 2010
Bottle from GBBF 2010. Clear mid gold, lasting white head. Some yeast, on a typical lager aroma. Touch of toast even. Slightly perfumed in mouth. Yes, some alcohol strength on swallow. Reminds me a bit of a strong biere de garde from France. It’s fine. A damn sight better than a lot of European strong lagers. Fine. Carbonation is a bit hard.
