Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, sulphur hops. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, green grass, hay, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

75 cL bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small, white and lacing head. Aroma is mild fruity and citrusy hoppy. Grassy, sweet malty and light citrusy hoppy. Bitter and dry into a bitter finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. The aroma has malt and some sulphur. Solid body, lots of sweet malts yes and some sulphur. Some dry hops. Pretty damm close to a can of European Strong from the supermarket - just cleaner. 140810

Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Slight citric nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel and medium-full body. Some butter, lemon and salt sprinkled with booze. Like an upmarket polish super mocne.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy and a weak hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Hazy golden color, with creamy head. The aroma is a bit herbal, honeyish. Good mouthfeel, smooth, round, sweetish, with honeyish and hay flavor, malt; correct bitterness. Pleasant.

Bottle, 9%. Lagery aroma, a little caramelly. Almost clear shiny golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour is a little rough, quite alcoholic. Clean, though.

Bottle at home from my 60 bottle GBBF 2010 haul ... crisp pale yellow ... thin white head ... light grassy lager hop nose ... sweet hop front .. then that grainyness... really not my thing ... quite sweet linger

Bottle from GBBF 2010. Clear mid gold, lasting white head. Some yeast, on a typical lager aroma. Touch of toast even. Slightly perfumed in mouth. Yes, some alcohol strength on swallow. Reminds me a bit of a strong biere de garde from France. It’s fine. A damn sight better than a lot of European strong lagers. Fine. Carbonation is a bit hard.
