Tilted Smile breaks away from the crowd. Big in alcohol, yet approachable and versatile. Confidently balanced with Saaz hops and 100% Pilsen malt. Crisp and delightfully carbonated. Explore pairing with grilled meats and seafood.

Sample at the Sour Village / CCB Tasting on 05/20/2011. This beer is a lustrous golden-yellow color with a medium thin bone whitehead that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of mildly spiced hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grainy malt, hops and zesty fruit. The finish is mildly hopped and short. Pretty average overall, I was expecting more.

sweet yet spicy, malt candy due to the high levels of malt, spicy hops add some balance but not enough for the over the top level of malts,

Copper pour, white head. Lager yeast, earthy notes, white bread, very light hops. Flavor is lagery, yeasty, bready, light caramel. Not bad at all. Thanks superdave.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, golden yellow appearance with a small white head with big bubbles. Sweet, slightly grainy, pils malty, straw, grassy hoppy aroma. Sweet, somewhat fruity, pineapple, mango, straw, hay, grassy flavor. A little odd and a little sickly sweet.

Clear golden with a small off white head. Aroma had plenty of fruity hops, malt and hints of pine. Hoppy flavor with pine, grapefruits and malty notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Not too shabby. A little darker, thicker, and sweeter than expected, with a heavy grain presence and a slightly lighter than expected grassy hop bite. Good beer, not a good deal."

Bottle shared by Steve, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is crisp malt with a bit of sweet grain and light grassy hops. Flavor crisp grain with some sweet malt and a bit of light grassy hops in the finish.

Pours clear medium gold with 3 finger white head. Nose is pale malt, mild hopcitrus. Tastes pale malty, with some sweetness, and a crisp hoppy finish. Medium to light palate with pretty well hidden alcohol. Not as good as Sam Impy Pils or the Rogue version, and just OK overall.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Pours a clear, deep yellow with a sheeting white head. Aroma of honey, malt, cherries, and sweet syrup. Taste is malty, boozy, spicy, with a palate that is powdery dry. But as this warms and I spend more time with it, the nose really devolves quite a bit. What was sweet with some oddities now smells like diabetic, sugar heavy urine; cherry powder, even a bit of poopy toilet. Something old and fusel in character is making itself known. Taste is trash malty, powder, flour, bland corn starch. Really just a definitive drain pour. Really just unenjoyable. Vile, gag-reflex on the palate.
