Tilted Smile breaks away from the crowd. Big in alcohol, yet approachable and versatile. Confidently balanced with Saaz hops and 100% Pilsen malt. Crisp and delightfully carbonated. Explore pairing with grilled meats and seafood.

Pours a three finger off-white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Crystal clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Sweet grapefruit nose and flavor is grapefruit and caramel. Higher ABV is hidden. Worth trying. $8.49 for a caged and corked 750ml bottle from Hannaford’s Concord, NH.

750mL courtesy of douglas88 pours deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is sharp spicy hops, floral hops, then apricot / strawberry / pear cotton candy and then followed by more floral hops. The taste is big rich floral flower pedals then lesser amounts of spicy hops, sugary malts and sweet fruity cotton candy. Nice rich noble hop brew.

Nice bohemian pils aroma. Pours golden yellow. Stong but nicely balanced with a sweet start and a nice bitter dry finish. Overall a nice version of a classic style

Pours clear golden with a soft, thick but dissipating white head and some lace. Aroma is of citrus and floral hops, sweet malts, fruits and spices. A strong presence of the sweet malts in the taste, with a fair amount of hops on the back end, some fruits, alcohol and tartness. Fairly impressive for my first Imperial Pilsner.

Poured from a bottle, beer pours a wonderful clear golden color with a white head. Toasty aroma from the pils, the higher alcohol content is also apparent. the taste is a toasty, nutty malt, slightly sweet. Not my favorite from the very strong Uinta Crooked lineup.

Aroma is grainy malts and a hint of mustiness. The flavor is mild grain sweetness, citrus, hops and a lasting tartness in finish.

C&C 750 mL bottle from Whole Foods Market, Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malts and faint grassy hops. The taste is grassy hops, corn, fruity notes including mango, pear and pineapple. Light on the palate and not a hint of the alcohol content. Some grassiness returns in the finish. Fairly crisp and clean. Very interesting beer, fairly nice.

750 c&c from Ace in Boulder, CO. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is something spice/citrus. Med body/frothish carb. Flavor is pale malt with a lot of herby/grassy/spice hop. Still think there’s some citrus/fruit lurkin in it. It’s near lush. Drinks incredibly well. Not a hint of heat. Excellent.

Bottle at Savor 2011, June 4th. Pours a nice lighter color. Taste is lightly bitter. Covers alcohol well. I think this is an underrated style, as I really like this beer and Dogfish Head My Antonia.
