A Mes rate. Bottle at the Cad’s. Clean gold with a decent bright white head. Slight card and baked beans on the nose but not overly offensive. Metallic and corny flavour with rather a lot of alcohol showing. Some fairly harsh bitterness in the finish. Maybe it’s struggling. Maybe it’s just poor.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 reebtogi (3267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 7, 2011
750ml corked bottle poured a hazy pale golden color with about a finger of white head and left some fine lacing on the glass. Mild aroma of citrus. Taste was mostly sour with some alcohol. Bottle dated 09/30/2010 could have something to do with this. Anyways, this was not desirable.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 22, 2010
Bottle.
Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, fully diminishing.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, husks), lightly hoppy (flowers), with light notes of honey, DMS, plastic, and alcohol.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter, slightly unclean, husky.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Not very clean or enjoyable, but you can certainly do a lot worse in this category.

Nice golden color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, light floral, & some fruit; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel, corn syrup, fruit, hops, and some citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Not balanced all that well; Overall, did not care for this one.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Strykzone (3814) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - NOV 28, 2010
A hazy golden pour with a very small white head. The aroma is Saaz hops with light malt and some grain. This beer came in a beautiful 750 ml. bottle with a cork and cage. Excellent marketing but the product inside doesn’t come close to matching it. Some light spice is a dominant theme but is not big at all. Unfortunately, that is the biggest and best thing going in this beer. There is some grass and some grain. Alcohol is overdone.

Shared bottle at the RBNAG-11 grand tasting. hazy, golden with a creamy, white rim. Honey, fruits and light malts on the nose. Dry, bitter and fruity flavors. Medium body. Dry tongue.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dixonian (1478) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JAN 21, 2011
750ml bottle - thanks to bu11zeye.
Pours golden yellow. Not much in the aroma department - slight saaz hop tinge. Metalic. I expected a lot more flavor out of an imperial pilsner. Disappointing.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ACHops (282) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 18, 2012
On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. Pours translucent golden with thin lasting head. Aroma is light hops and some corn. Taste is thin, earthy hops that lead to a bitter finish. Malt flavors are big but muddled and ultimately overwhelmed by the alcohol, which is obvious. Harsh. Different but not easy to drink.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Lukaduke (1021) - Portland, Maine, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Pours a golden copper color witha two plus finger fo white fizzy foam. On the nose its a bit sweet with a honeyed grassy profile that mixes with a bit of fruity yeast. On the palate it is more of the same. A touch sticky and the yeasty fruit flavors far outweigh the saaz hops and the bready pilsen malts. Blahhh.
