Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Ariel. Pours hazy blond with white head. Smells sweet - honey and malt. Tastes sweet, too sweet, malty and old. Medium body and not really pilsner.

750ml bottle. Pours a deep straw with a white head. Hoppy, malty aroma, butterscotch, caramel, apricot, slightly grainy, hints of funk? Off-dry, medium body, high bitterness, balanced CO2. Hoppy, malty taste, quite grainy and robust, the hops feel rather oxidized and over the hill, there are some disturbingly funky elemnts emerging as it warms up. Very odd. (2013-04-16)

Bottled two years ago, but stored in a dark 68 degree area for 18 months or so it’s been in my possession. I mention this because on one hand I think this beer might have turned a bit, but reading through the reviews, plenty of them mention an overly sweet taste, and mine is almost syrupy. Smells faintly of citrus, but also rusty water. Plenty of carbonation and lace left, though, so maybe this is just far more sweet and sticky than I prefer.

Sampled at American Craft Beer Fest 2010. Aroma of apple and light malts. Full bodied. Some dark fruits on the finish. Decent for a pilsner.

750ml Bottle: Aroma of Pils malts, light Saaz hops, herbs, slight corn, husks, slight grass, and a hint of skunk. Poured yellow in color with a large, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of water, light Pils malt, slight hops, corn, husks, and a hint of pollen. Light to medium body. Thin, watery texture. Average carbonation. Pils malt finish. 9%ABV is completely hidden throughout, however so is any hops or flavor.

(750ml, bottled 09/30/10, courtesy of blutt59) rich golden, film and ring of creamy white bubbles. Nose of cereal grain, a bit bitter smelling, light apple. Taste of alcohol, gold raisins, cracker, a bit bitter, overly sweet, with a medium thick body and a bittersweet linger.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, golden yellow appearance with a small white head with big bubbles. Sweet, slightly grainy, pils malty, straw, grassy hoppy aroma. Sweet, somewhat fruity, pineapple, mango, straw, hay, grassy flavor. A little odd and a little sickly sweet.

Pours a golden color with aroma of honey and creamy butter. Taste is light for such high alcohol content. Flavor of mango, banana and grass. Overall, an enjoyable beer.
