Pours a deep gold with an average white head. Fragrant, spicy noble hop aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter, clean and refreshing as a good Pilsner should be. Good body, well done.

750ml bottle-thanks jtclockwork for sharing-pours a rich off white head and hazy yellow/gold color. Aroma is fruity, light/medium malt-musty, slight clove. Taste is slightly lemon tart-fruity, light/medium malt-musty, slight clove from yeast? OK carbonation. Nice “mild Imperial”.

Nice fresh clean flavors here - with the sweetness of an ipa which makes this better than just a pilsner. Silky, draft-like palate is especially nice - slightly creamy finish.

Appearance: Pours a shiny yellow gold with a thin white film of head.

Aroma: German hops that you can smell from a few feet away and some apple fruitiness.

Taste: Fruity esters, bitter earthy German hops, slightly bready. Surprisingly no crazy plastic industrial notes I usually get from Imperial Pils.

Mouthfeel: Syrupy with modest carbonation.

Overall: I would have thought this was a Belgian Golden if I was tasting this blind, as it has a similar body and fruitiness to it. Enjoyable.

750ml bottle. Rating #93. Light hazy dark gold pour with a good white head that left a nice white lace on the glass as well. Crisp grainy aroma, light hoppiness, real nice blend of aromas. Real nice flavor, bitter and a little bready with a clean aftertaste, real nice pilsner. (1712)

A bit skunky. Hits you with the hops in a thin-ish, sweet-ish, white bread earwax brew.

Poured from 750ml bottla a very light golden with a large, thick, frothy, white head that laces very nicely around the glass. Aroma is of citrus, sweet malt, floral hops. Flavor is a very well balance of malty sweetness and bitter hops. ABV of 9% is concealed very well in this beer.

From bomber. Pours a somewhat cloudy bright gold with a small white head. Aromas of sweet corn, spice/herbs, grass, orange dominate. Sweet cereal malts, orange, hay, corn round out the flavor. ABV is hidden well as the beer is smooth with a light/medium body. Sweet finish with a little breadiness and hops at the tail end.

Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 4, 2013
Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty beige color pilsner with a rather large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of dry and floral hops with some sweet notes from a crystal malt base. Taste is a mix between some dry and floral hops profile with some quite sweet crystal malt base. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Interesting though a touch too sweet to be an everyday beer.
