3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a bright yellow gold color with a pillow of head that dissipated to a solid but thin cap. The nose is of lemon, grass, herbs and crisp crackery malts. Sweetness hits the tongue up front with some zesty lemon followed herbs and lightly grassy bitterness. The sips ends with some spicy and zesty bitterness that leaves the mouth watering and with a slightly lingering bitterness. The 9.0% abv is well hidden. This one could be trouble if your not careful.
This is a very good impy pilsner. I like the hoppy character but could use a bit more of it.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is the color of apple cider with a thick, setting body. The head holds a foamy, respectable white ring around the perimeter of the glass. It tastes intitially almost like apple cider. The aroma is.carmaly fruity. The flavor is sweet carmely bitter malt. Its better than ok, but not good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly Hazy Dark Amber Color, Huge Foamy Head, Decent Lacing. Faint Hop Aroma. Sweet Malt, Caramel, Brief Faint Apricot,Slight Hop with Light Alcohol Kick. Medium Body, Easily Drinkable. Not as harsh as some fo Imperials that come out of Eastern Europe. Waaay easier to drink and more enjoyable. Pleasant belly warmer on this cool autumn evening. Like the Label. Worth A Try...

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a solid gold color with a small white head. The nose is sweet with pale malt, alcohol, and light honey. The flavor is sweet and the alcohol is way too present. Lots of pale malt sweetness, a little citrus bitterness, and a slight solvent like quality on the back end. This just comes across as all out of balance and to be honest, not very tasty.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The beer appears okay, it is a clear straw color with a nice one finger white head and some decent lacing on the glass. The smell comes off with a mild lemony smell, some grassy and floral notes, but is light and not much for a imperial pilsner. The taste is okay with a clean grassy flavor, mild lemon zest kicks in on the back end. The mouthfeel is clean and crisp but mild and disappates quickly. Overall, this beer is okay but under delivers in taste for an imperisal pilsner...Ivehad better pilsners, let along imperial pilsner.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
750 ml bottle dated 10/17/12. Pours a bright translucent orange with a big white head of foam. Pretty decent retention. The aroma I grainy, bready, and a little estery. The alcohol sneaks in there as well. Sort of caramely. The taste is sweet overall with that dry alcohol presence coming across more aggressively in the taste. Dry and sweet finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours pretty amber with an orange hue and a fat head of off white foam that fell slowly and left a layer on top and cloud like lace. Nose is good. Pilsner malt, spicy hops, and a touch of lemon. Starts off with a little grass that becomes more pronounced as it warms. This has a light bread with honey that becomes an actual caramel sweetness as ti warms. I did not observe any alcohol on the nose.
Taste is heavy and immediately boozy. Instead of that citrus and grass and saaz you get alcohol and then a light hop bitter. The sweetness is heavy and detracts from the grain. There’s a corn sweetness in here too. It’s verges on cloying and all the elements of a pislner are fighting with the heavy alcohol and clashing with the caramel. The corn is just too much.
This finishes clashing. Sweetness with a moderate bitter. Thank goodness the carbonation was more than ample to keep the body of this beer from being heavy like a rock. The corn outdoes the spice and that is half the flavor of the pils as far as I am concerned. It’s a little slick on the palate and overall just average.
