3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cprochak (590) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2010
Draft. Pours dark gold, huge frothy head that lingered. Nice floral and citrus aroma. Taste had a good honey sweetness, but then was just too bitter to be a balanced APA. Still a solid beer that is pretty drinkable.

Thanks Hayduke! This beer pours the color of medium stained oak furniture. A smallish head has an orange tint and good retention. Thick sticky lacing. Caramel leads the flavor. Some pepper and bread. The hops provide some citrus but are not assertive. Lightly bitter malt flavors increase as the beer warms. Finish is thin and some rye finishes the glass. This is a great Pale Ale for a drinker with a sweet tooth (like me). I liked it.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sledutah (3193) - Utah, USA - NOV 9, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours a dark copper color with white head and leaves light lace on the glass. Aroma is citrus and malt. Taste is malty with a touch of hops. Dry finish.

Deep copper pour with a crimson hue and small ivory head that produces rings of lacing. Aroma is virtually non-existent and what is evident is dull citrus and a lot of caramel malt. Flavor isn’t at all "bright" and is instead muddled. Sweeter than it should be.

Amber pour with white lacing. Enjoyable floral and citrus hops to go with my chicken! Bitter flavor.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 FrostedMug (8) - California, USA - JUL 12, 2009 does not count
Redish amber color. Very adequate pale ale in all respects. Not as good as Squatter’s Full Suspension - but better than most ales.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hayduke (2928) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 30, 2009
From a 12 oz bottle this poured a very clear gold with a small white head and good thick lacing. Nose of caramel malts with citrus hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is a good balance between malts and hops, and finish is dry and lightly bitter. A very serviceable APA.

Draught. Medium amber in color with a small off-white head that was lasting til the end of the glass. Grapefruit and peach fruity hop aroma. Moderate caramel flavor with light pine undertones lending a mild-to-moderate bitterness. Medium body. Worked pretty well with the pizza I ordered at Fire House in Logan, UT.
