mikey (321), farmington, Utah, USA Apr 30, 2008 Poured a deep amber/copper color with a huge creamy head that lasted to the bottom of the glass. The nose was very fresh and clean to the senses, mostly roasted malts and slightly citrusy. The taste starts with big, lightly sweet malt, and the finish has a piney pleasantness to it. The aftertaste is dry and crisp. A quite drinkable beer and at 4% ABV, something that would make a nice session beer.
Rciesla (813), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Sep 30, 2008 Draft at the tiger. Pours an amber body with a small pale head. Aroma is pale malt, a bit of Sweetness and wet paper. No etoh or hops to boot. This was a pretty plain beer 22 percentile is about right. michael-pollack (1459), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 18, 2008 12oz. Bottle: Faint malt aroma. Poured amber in color with a small, off-white head that disappeared immediately. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malts and cola. Medium body. Thin, watery texture. Average texture. Malty finish. Drnk_McDermott (1562), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Apr 18, 2008 Another hookup from douglas88, 12 oz. bottle, bottled 11/7/07. Pours nice amber, with a brief head. Clean malt smell is just starting to show some papery oxidation around the edges. Still shows a nice, amber malty taste, like a good lawnmower/bowling alley beer. Sticky texture, a bit nutty and bready, with a calm, assured noble hop background. Another example of how to make a decent lower-alcohol beer. zathrus13 (1089), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Mar 10, 2008 Pours amber/copper, with a white head. Aroma is caramel, nuts, and malt. Flavor is malt and caramel.
