12 oz Bottle. Skunked ? Bad Batch ? I guess I’ll never know for sure. Terrible.

Flat, clear, orange appearance and a funky smell. The palate was just as flat as I thought it might be, given the appearance. The taste wasn’t too bad, hints of fruit tea and maltiness - drinkable but incredibly bland. It came off as something you’d taste from a beginner home brewer. Must’ve been a bad batch (although the bottled date was only 1 month old).

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of wheat, grain, and a hint of fruit. Poured orange in color with a small, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malt, fruit, wheat, tea, and sugar. Light to medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Wheat, fruit, tea finish is dry.

Cornfield (5437) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JAN 3, 2012
This poured a clear copper/amber body with a modest white head. The nose was fruity, dark cherries with a hit of oranges. The flavor carried on with the fruit, adding a light lemon twist and an herbal/leafy dryness. A very quaffable brew that bears repeating.

Frank (2733) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2011
This is an orange or amber brew w/ a slight haze and a small head. Nose is mildly fruity, something somewhere in between citrus and plum, w/ a grain husk note. Toasted malt and iced-tea like astringent flavors set the stage for just a hint of sugar sweetness. This is a low gravity brew but there’s plenty of flavor if you’re in the mood for just sitting back and having a tasty beverage or two--and the full but light texture invites you to do just that.

On tap at the brewpub. Also know art fest amber for the salt lake arts festival. A amber wheat ale with coriander. A sweet grainy nose with berries and spice. A sweet sugary flavor with berries and wheat, a bit of earthy caramel malts. A nice brew, might end up being a regular soon.
