Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Cloudy dark amber/light brown w/ thin rimming offwhite head; aroma is light and hoppy; Flava is bitter mildly hoppy; feels medium fizzy foamy; finishes bitter

Very light aroma, very grassy citrus notes emanating from this orange and hazy liquid. Softly persistent white head leaves a trailing on the glass, wet and not sticky at all. The first swallow is only bitter and unappealing; not much that’s desirable about the taste. The afterward is lengthy and harsh. The second, third and fourth tastes get better as you get deeper, but never actually become pleasant. Not a fan of this brew enjoyed two months before the ’best before’ date. Probably won’t try this again.

A very tasty and impeccably well balanced IPA. Great malt notes with complex hoppiness. Pours a medium-dark golden with a frothy head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft, Thirsty Moose Dover location. Murky gold with lasting head in a tulip. Aromas are heavy malt; bready, biscuit, caramel. Hints of pine hops. Flavor is moderately sweet with a low bitterness. Finish is again sweet with light pine and citrus hop flavors. Medium body, dry texture with a lively carbonation level. My overall thoughts: Either this keg took long to get tapped and sat around or… I have been drinking too many bold DIPA’s because this just very mediocre.

12 oz bottle purchased at Vintage Cellar, Blacksburg VA. Pours a clear dark golden/orange with rapidly fading white head that left moderate lacing. Aroma is oxidized hop bitterness, this is clearly not fresh. Flavor is mildly bitter hops and sweet malt. Medium bodied with active carbonation. I’d like to try fresh.

Growler, A good fruity IPA. Not too thick but pours with a nice frothy head. I would definitely recommend trying this if you happen to wander across it.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a a bright golden orange, a bit hazy with 2 fingers of lacy head and good carbonation. Aroma is ripe orange, mango, peach, earthy hops and pine. Flavor is lots of sweet citrus up front with a slowly escalating hop bitterness towards the back. Some resiny earthy hops and grapefruit to go with the slightly bitter aftertaste. Some sweetness lingers in between. Definitely a first rate IPA, reminds me a bit of a Bells Two Hearted.

Pours an orange-ish gold with a medium head. Tangy and bitter, with pine and citrus notes. Not the best IPA I’ve had, but not the worst, either.
