Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Consumed from can. Smell is astringent citrus and a bit of tropical fruits. Taste is again with the citrus, but I am picking up some medicinal tones that are a turn off. Pine resin and long lasting bitterness. Not bad, but would not seek out again.

On tap at Brewhouse Cafe. Medium amber with a thin white head. Loads of lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, and caramel. Taste is of loads of citrus and pine hops. Has a hearty sweet caramel malt backbone. Nicely balanced. Has a dry piney finish. Very enjoyable.

12 oz bottle. Poured with big foamy head. Reddish deep amber hue. Caramel malty smell. Alcohol malt taste up front but immediately tempered by the hoppy finish. Drinks thick. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Wegmans Williamsport. Pours light orange with a thin white head. Leaves some lacing in the glass. Bright, bold hop aromas on the nose. lots of pine on the tongue. Has a good amount of bitterness on the finish. A pretty good example of the style.

Aroma of citrus zest and fresh juicy hops. Pours a light gold with a thing head that leaves a solid lacing. Smooth thick hops on the first taste. Loses complexity altogether as it warms with only resiny hops on the taste.

Bottle: Poured a orangey/bright amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh citrus and light piney notes with lightly sweet malt backbone is quite enjoyable. Taste is a mix between some citrus notes with some light piney and fruity hoppy notes as well as a lightly sweet malt backbone (but no caramel malt which is nice). Body is quite full with good carbonation. Easy drinking with plenty of flavours.

A top notch ipa, pun intended. Bright, clean citrus flavors mixed with a pleasant grassy strawberryness. One of the smoothest, most easy drinking ipa’s i have had in a long time. Really good stuff and reasonably priced, im glad this brewery is starting to get nationwide recognition.

Golden caramel in color with a satisfying aroma of pears and citrus fruit. Utah is not that far from California. ..right? I can taste that similarity. Delicious! A +plus

Bottle at D’Agnese’s Trattoria in Akron, OH. Draft in American shaker. Orange-golden yellow pour with thick, lasting white head. Very nice aroma with significant pine, resin, floral, and citrus. Taste similar with the pine and resin dominant. Bitter, but floral finish. Very well balanced with the malts. Medium body, medium carb. Crisp finish.
