Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. Itís balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

12 oz bottle, Whole Foods Columbus. Copper-amber pour, lovely thick pillowy white head dissipates into a medium ring and retains gobs of lacing down the glass. Aroma exhibits lots of pine and citrus, bready. Flavor grassy, caramel, sharply bitter. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, almost silky; nice. I donít think the malt -quite- stands up to the hops here and so I think this is a nice beer but I donít find the balance to be quite right. Tasty, though.

Solid IPA. Ram across it in my local bodega and picked it up. Very hoppy...very similar to the Raging Bitch IPA, which is another one of my favorites. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle poured into glass. Big hints of floral hops and grapefruit/citrus. Flavor is earthy and a tad grassy. Good balance between the hops and malts. Clean with a nice bitter finish.

Cask at the Atlanta Cask Ale fest. Pours a clear gold with a slight amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of sweet grains and grassy hops with a hint of resin. Flavor has much more resin and pine up front that mellow to grass with a sweet grain backbone.

Bottle. Pours a very clear gold with a very frothy head and lovel aromas of resin and citrus. Flavor is nice and crisp with a grain dust edge to it that kind of messes things up. Booze isnít really hidden very well either.

From the bottle poured a golden brew with a thin white head. Aromas of hops and malt hit your nose before you lift the glass to your mouth. Full bodied with malty sweetness and a nice hoppresence that lingers on the back of your tounge.

Bottle. Copper with thin foamy white head and light lacing. Smells a tad biscuity then a little lemony, grapefruity, and fresh. Tastes a little perfumey then goes into the dry/bitter. Hard mouthfeel, moderate bitter finish. Not bad, but there are others I like better. (Caveat- I just ate jalapenos and the burn is still in my mouth- so grain of salt.)

On tap @ Public House in Vegas. Hazy deep orange amber, lacy head. Floral hops mingle with sweet malts on the nose. Crunchy cereal malts support intense hop structure that is more piney and earthy than the nose suggests. Long bitter finish. Very good.

Really delicious IPA. Has a sort of musty citrusy nose with lots of hops. Pours a bright orange with a big fluffy white head that holds lots of lacing. Well balanced on the tongue and lots of grapefruit and honeysuckle come through as well as some fresh cut grass and pine cone. Great beer by Uinta. Will drink again.
