COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Pine, grass, and citrus fruit on the nose, along with subtle caramel notes. Clear dark orange with a mostly lasting, splotchy, white head. Bitter with a touch of malty sweetness. Medium body, lively carbonation, and finishes with aggressive yet quick, snappy hops that linger for quite some time.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy orange amber with a tight white head. Light lace. Notably tropical flavored IPA. Mango. Palm. Orange. Pineapple. Bubble gum. Cocoa butter. Pinecones. Straw. Pink grapefruit. Good body. Smooth finish. Nice IPA.

From bottle. Dark copper color with about one finger of khaki colored, frothy head. Unremarkable nose. Smooth and balanced--a little grass with a dry finish. Very solid.

Golden amber color with off white head. The aroma is citrus and mango hoppy aroma with some underlying grassy notes. With the upfront flavor you get some bitterness and carbonation with some mild hop bitterness in the middle. This is a medium bodied IPA that is quite smooth and very drinkable.

This beer threw me a bit on first sip. Its got a strange balance of flavors that initially made it seem like something was missing. Several sips along, though, and this evident problem was resolved, as the beer tastes pretty smooth and is quite satisfying. Surprising that it comes from Utah, possibly the state with the most restrictive alcohol laws. Most beer is limited to 4% ABV, and finding anything outside the mainstream adjunct beers (mainly of the ’lite’ variety) is impossible outside the big cities. I was unpleasantly shocked passing through the state on a cross country bicycle tour last summer. These laws don’t keep 30 packs of Bud Light from flying off the convenience store shelves, though.

Translucent copper pour with a cream colored head. Strong pine and citrus aroma. The flavor is even better, a strong yet well balanced mix of the citrus and pine hops with a nice malt backbone. Very enjoyable IPA, I’m looking forward to trying more beers from Uinta.

On tap at Collin's Pub in Seattle. Pours a murky golden brown with a lot of fine head that coats the glass. Milder hop flavors that are well balanced against the alcohol. Enjoyable IPA.

Pours a dull, clear golden color with an eggshell colored head. Head retention is excellent. A battle of pine and citrus in the bouquet. Grapefruit breaks through late. A nearly perfect mouthfeel that makes this IPA so very drinkable. Sweet grapefruit and a note of tangerine in the impressive flavor. Excellent IPA. Well done, Salt Lake City!

Very light orange in color. So much so that it appears to be a light ale. Little white head. A strong hop aroma. A citrusy hops but a light flavor.
