COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. Itís balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper, huge white head, lots of lacing. Nose is sweet caramel and citrus, some pine too. Tastes sweet, a little bitter, gives way to caramel. Really nice and balanced.

This is a good IPA with plenty of caramel-malty flavor and the right amount of hops, not overly bitter easy to drink would recommend.

Cool brewery idea, using solar energy to brew beer! Body is a little heavy but taste and hoppy aroma make up for it.

12 oz bottle. BB 10/03/14. From a kiosk in Portland, OR.
Hazy orangey golden color with a small white head. Citrusy hops, lemon, mild bitterness and dry grainy malt in the aroma. The flavor is... old hops... shit... I didnít check the BB date before buying... Thereís old hops, mild bitterness and dryness in the flavor. Needs a rerate.
And the rerate is coming much sooner than I thought...
12 oz can. BB 1/8/16. (Beermongers) Portland, OR.
Deep golden color with a small white head. Citrusy and piney hops, some bitterness and dryness in the aroma. The flavor is... fresh... citrusy and piney hops, moderate bitterness... Tasty.

Had it in tap. Pours beautifully clear and copper with a thick head. The aroma is a mix of malt/citrus & hop, but weak. The taste is of a smooth hop malt IPA, I could use a little more punch for the effort.

I usually struggle to find the enjoyment in a lot of mainstream IPAs, or at least, I struggle find the enjoyment through all aspects and to the bottom of the bottle. But this one did it. Not at all bitter, just highly flavorful, with a delightfully balanced sweetness. Easy drinking. Highly compelling with the right food; in my case, a spicy squash and chickpea stew. Bottle.

Many thanks to Chris for this can! Great intense floral nose. The beer starts extreme piney and hoppy. Intense viscous-floral. Tons of fresh hops on a malty-sweetish body. Moderate bitterness. Intense sweetish hoppy aftertaste - probably a bit too sweetish. Lots of floral piney hops. Intense viscous piney aftertaste. Great!

Pours golden almost amber. Aroma is mostly citrus, apple, other fruit, hay. Taste is pine, resin, earthy, barely a hint of malt. Medium mouthfeel.
