Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

12 oz bottle. Clear apple juice with a bumpy off-white head. Nose is orange peel, toffee, grapefruit pith and faint cedar. Resiny medium body with a buzz. Taste about as it smells; grass and bittersweet citrus.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy light tan head. Good head retention and nice sheets of lacing. Really a nice looking beer. The aroma is herbal and peppery hops with pale malts. The taste is herbal hops, caramel, faint fruitiness and a bitter finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation and a slight lingering bitterness. Nice.

Decent IPA. Bottle, pours a nice golden color. Notes of hops, citrous with a nice characteristic as well. Nice carbonation, very crisp and refreshing.

pours a golden amber, lively bubbles, off white head. The noses is grassy is and herbal with a decent caramel malt backbone. The flavor has some oily hop resign flavors, notes of meaty orange citrus, with a grassy herbal spice in the finish. The body is a touch syrupy but has an aggressive carbonation to balance out.

Pours golden yellow with a small white head. Smell like a lot of hops. Taste is smooth, light and malty with lots of citrus hop taste, but little bitterness. Med bodied. After taste is dry hopped with crisp malts. Good taste and dryness. This is a good and less aggressive IPA.

In short: A somewhat thick and doughy-sweet IPA with nice fruity hops. Overall, decent.
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed relatively fresh a few weeks after purchase. Bottle forwarded to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt
The look: Almost clear golden amber body topped by a medium white head with medium retention
In long: Pleasant nose of fruity hops with a fresh apricots and mangos signature. In mouth the beer is a little less fresh juicy fruits and a little more bitter fruity hops (grapefruits and friends). A fair amount of sweetness for a relatively small beer, and here the sweet malts taste like a pastry. Also flavor of cookie dough. A little too sweet for what I like from an IPA of this gravity, this is far from refreshing. Overall the beer was good, but not very good. A bit too heavy for what it is trying to be. I like to find nice little cheap highly drinkable IPAs like this one, because I became an alcoholic because I’m too cheap to be a coke addict.

this is a very amazing beer the aroma is a sweet pinapple citrus with a hint of pine. it is a golden amber with nice white head the diminishes to quick but leaves a nice lacing. the flavor is very hoppy with some piney notes and citrus towrds the end. I know this is a good beer when i burp and it taste and smells just as good as the brew itself. this is a great ipa.

Thin white head of fine bubbles. Lots of fruity hops, pineapple and some mild malts. Color is a dark golden orange. Bit of bitterness up front then it mellows out with a decent malt backbone then the hops coming bounding back in late swallow with some unripe grapefruit juice and spruce. A little bit of soft maltyness along with a bit of roasted grains. Finishes with a lingering dry bitterness. A decent IPA.
