Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

12 oz. bottle at Public House at the Venetian, served in a tulip. Pours a clear orange-gold with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts, grassy hops, mild citrus- not much here but clean and solid. Flavor of grassy hops, sweet malts, light herbs, vanilla, and resin. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a resinous, malty mouthfeel. Decent IPA, teetering on DIPA status.

Very strong pine in aroma. The flavor is grapefruit/citrus hops and very pungent, that although with a malty backbone, heavily influences the flavor and into the finish. Although the pungency was strong, it was still a pretty good IPA

12 oz. bottle shared with multiple others in a tasting at a local. Pours a thin off white head, over a clear light copper (SRM 15) body.....nose is light pine, citrus, mango, toffee/caramel....taste is pine, light toffee/caramel, melon, with lingering grapefruit finish....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This is without a doubt an IPA. This does not have the sharper hop influence of many American IPA’s. It is more lushly fruity with rounded edges in both nose and palate. IPA’s are evolving as new ingredients become available and I need to decide about those changes and whether I like them or not. BJCP 7/3/13/4/6

Big tan/white head, nice retention great lacing clear golden amber... grapefruity fairly pungent green hop aroma... very green, tastes like the hops are added very very late, like chewing on a hop, grapefruity, piney... Dry medium body lightly creamy mouthfeel fairly carbonated...

12 oz bottle. Clear apple juice with a bumpy off-white head. Nose is orange peel, toffee, grapefruit pith and faint cedar. Resiny medium body with a buzz. Taste about as it smells; grass and bittersweet citrus.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a hazy amber color with a medium sized creamy light tan head. Good head retention and nice sheets of lacing. Really a nice looking beer. The aroma is herbal and peppery hops with pale malts. The taste is herbal hops, caramel, faint fruitiness and a bitter finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation and a slight lingering bitterness. Nice.

Decent IPA. Bottle, pours a nice golden color. Notes of hops, citrous with a nice characteristic as well. Nice carbonation, very crisp and refreshing.

pours a golden amber, lively bubbles, off white head. The noses is grassy is and herbal with a decent caramel malt backbone. The flavor has some oily hop resign flavors, notes of meaty orange citrus, with a grassy herbal spice in the finish. The body is a touch syrupy but has an aggressive carbonation to balance out.
