Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. Itís balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

A - loads of citrus fruit, apricot, and mango. A - poured a clear pale gold with minimal head. T -sweet malt flavors kept in balance by bitterness. Hop flavors of citrus and apricot & mango agree withthe aroma. P - medium bodied with a hint of hop and malt stickiness kept in check by good carbonation. O - Great beer overall. Iíd describe this a Wyldís big brother. Tastes like a fuller bodied version of Uinta Wyld. Which is a complement as Wyld is a fine pale.

Bottle to glass - Pours beautifully! A slightly tinted, rich mahagony-orange with a resilient frothy off white head. Aroma is fresh, juicy citra, pine resin, some sweet malts. Medium bodied, not as complex as if hoped for on the tongue. Well balanced but somewhat plain with resin and bread... Long bitter finish.

Backlogged blackberry Tick, had bottles of this many times with Annie but this tick is from a North Jersey booze brew fest in 2012. Pours light hazy copper golden with 2 finger white head. Notes of pine, bitter lemon, grapefruit, toasted malt, and herbs. A little thin but not bad. Havenít had this in years but I only imagine its gotten worse like most craft beer.

Poured into a glass from a bottle. Hazy appearance. Aroma is outstanding with strong citrus and pine notes. Taste is consistent with the smell but a underwhelming bitter and grainy finish leaves a lot to be desired. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Lucky Pie & Pizza. High lasting off-white head. Hazy brown bod. Sweet fruity caramel aroma. Relatively hoppy fruity caramel flavor. High carbonation. Long bitter sweet finish.

I really have trouble writing reviews for these IPAs because they all, relatively, taste the same to me. High quality, fresh-tasting IPAs are a dime a dozen and very few examples are doing anything dramatically different or re-inventing the wheel. At least not the ones I am drinking. And thereís nothing wrong with that. This is another fine tasting IPA I would qualify as high-quality.

Gold orange. Creamy head. Strong fruity candy, powdery resin. Nice aroma. Same taste, with pine citrus. Mild malty but clean and hoppy. Strong bitter. Good balance.Full body, nice character, all around nice IPA.

Can at the Lincoln Wine Bar. Pine and fruits: peach and grapefruit. A little fizzy to me--I donít like it as much as their Detour, but a solid beer.
