COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Aroma: Citrusy, mouth-drool inducing olfactory perfection Appearance: Deep amber, with clingy lacing coating the glass Taste: Superbly balanced grapefruit citrus lets the hops be at the forefront without being overwhelming. Palate: So smooth, at an ideal ABV, this is session stuff for me. Overall: I can’t find any fault with this brew and I’m let down every time I try other IPAs (frequently).

This IPA poured a golden colour with minimal head. Scents include grass and citrus hops. First swig was powerful in the hop dept. light caramel and hay also there. Finish is quite bitter with hop flavour lingering.

Bottle from FOBAB. Poured hazy golden with thinning beige head. Aroma is sweet malty citrus. Light carb med bod. Taste is also malty for an ipa.

Not much of an aroma on this but it is dense and orange in color. Very clean start and finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Head was almost non existant. Had a decent aroma remeniscent if a lot of west coast, citrus styles. Tasted delicious, went down easy. Grassy and piney with a solud amount of hops throughout. Would have ranked higher with a better appearance, that’s all it lacked.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a dark murky orange with a very thin head that's gone almost instantly; surprisingly good lacing, though. Aromas of flowers, grass, pine, and maybe some orange as well. Very sweet on the tongue and on the way down. Light body, considering the abv, and even a somewhat watery finish. Very drinkable and refreshing. Acquire. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Jus floral hyper aromatique à la sécheresse infinie. Les céréales se collent à l’amertume dans une longue finale. Frais et délicat.

Sample at Syracuse Beer Fest. Murky deep golden with a tight off-white head. Nice tropical fruit with some woodsy and spicy notes, fairly sticky caramel malt, a little phenolic (wet ash), interesting. Fruity, resinous, spicy and woodsy with fairly sticky caramel malt as a backbone; lightly sweet with firm bitterness and a long, caramel, spicy, pine, fruit finish.

Can from Binny’s. Slightly murky orange pour with a big pillowy white head. Lots of malt and pine in this. Clearly well made, but not really my style of IPA.
