4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aromatic and restrained for an IPA. Not the regular brassy hop flavor. An ipa a little more friendly for the masses, but sure to please the devout followers. High points include the round palate, the floral aroma, and the nicely balanced malt.

Bottle. Dark clear gold with a huge rocky white head. Aroma is melon, citrus and pine. Taste follows and adds lots of grapefruit. Soft pillowy mouthfeel. Nice.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
not sure of the freshness of this one, but itís what they were serving at Canfest. Medium bitterness and florals. Understated hop aroma and flavor as far as the citrus and pine is concerned. OK, but definitely nothing that makes me see the high rank. i like the Trader Session Ipa MARKEDLY BETTER.

Six pack of cans from Julioís. This is a hazy light amber brew. Frothy off-white head into the glass. Strong aroma of spice and spruce. Flavor is malty up front with layers and layers of bitterness. Slightly muddled, with a very bitter finish. Not very refreshing at all, but a solid IPA.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a hazy bronze. Nose has grapefruit and honey. Taste is a hop explosion with a bitter front with grapefruit running the show and a slight hint of lemon. It has a big malty finish with a slightly sweet and tart linger. One of my favorite IPAs, but definitely a hop-forward selection.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 mL bottle. Mostly citrus (orange) in the nose. Nice. Not super strong though. Flavour isnít super strong, but itís pleasant. Pineapple and grapefruit. Not much from the malt. Okay bitterness. Decent IPA, nothing spectacular.
