3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jkwood04 (2293) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 19, 2012
12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops, caramel malts, and a little spiciness. Flavor the same, with enough hops to make me feel like it’s an IPA. Smooth texture. A pretty good beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 blankboy (5153) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 19, 2012
Draught at Café D’Alsace, NYC. June 1. Pours a clear golden-orange with a small diminishing white head. O.K. lacing on the glass. Aroma is quite fruity along with floral hops, pale malt and some sweetness. Flavour of fruity hops, sweet bready malt and a moderate bitter finish -- a bit too sweet for the style. Alcohol is completely hidden. Average to medium bodied. Just O.K., a little simple for the style and not hoppy enough.

12oz bottle pours an amber orange color with a nice white head. Aromas of orange, grapefruit, pine. Medium bodied, hoppy, nice bitter finish

12oz bottle: Pours a clear bright golden brass with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a fresh resiny piney hoppy nose with a touch of sweet, lightly toasted caramel malt. Body starts with pretty good fullness and fine carbonation with a light malty sweetness which quickly reveals the grapefruity hop bitterness and flavor within. Finishes drier, clean and bittersweet. True to style and dangerously drinkable.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 davey101 (494) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 16, 2012
12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled on 5/31/2012.
A - Great dark amber body. Very clear with tons of rising bubbles. 3 finger high off white head settles down to a one finger high cap. Nice amount of lacing.
S - Grapefruit and spice. Its actually pretty amazing how this beer blends together the sweetness and the juiciness off the hops with some bready and spicy malts.
T - Juicy grapefruit, orange juice, bready caramel malt and a spicy finish. Aftertaste is just amazingly grapefruit heavy. Not overly aggressive but it has a nice bitterness to it. Mouth feel is slick and coating.
O - A nice IPA. Not the best, but damn tasty and refreshing. Really hits the grapefruit notes but still maintains a nice malt backbone.

Bottle into a pint glass. Deep orange almost red color with a big white head and nice lacing. Candy orange aroma. Flavor is full bodied and pretty sweet. Reminds me of those orange slice candies. Finish has a touch of grapefruit and leaves you with a long lasting sweetness. Little bit of pine bitterness working in background as well.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Bartzilla (500) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Bought this on a whim and am pretty happy with the purchase. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much, but this is a really solid IPA. Tastes fresh with all the usual "notes" that everyone else has already gone into. Pretty poundable, even with it’s 7.3% abv. I could go back to this one and probably will as it’s tasty and respectably priced for what you’re getting.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a small head that laces well. Very nice aroma dominated by grapefruit and other citrus. Flavor is also grapefruit dominated, with a bit of pine, perhaps some caramel, and a bitter finish. Very nice IPA.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 sharkweek (59) - Statesboro, Georgia, USA - JUN 11, 2012
This beer lived up to it’s name. Looked like an IPA, Smelled like an IPA, and Tasted like and IPA. It must be one. This one is top notch in my book.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tkrjukoff (3360) - SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2012
Bottle 12 oz, Total Wine & More. Pours clear amber with a nice creamy off white head leaving lacing. Aroma is really nice; fruity, piny, citric, sweet, caramel, malty and bready. Flavor is sweet piny fruity and malty in front, even more fruity and bitter pungent in the middle ending bitter pungent and spicy. Finishes longlived bitter and grapefruity.
