Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. Itís balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with white head. Floral hops in the aroma. Flavor is dominated by a blend of hop flavor, pretty complex. Moderate bitterness in the finish. Not bad!

Big olí west coast style hoppy IPA here. Aroma is beautiful with lots of citrus and some darker piney notes. Flavor is well-balanced up front but fades quickly into all hops. A bitter finish with almost metallic notes. Not my style but a good one for the style.

Shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Ours were labeled Hop Notch and purchased in early January. Pour a light amber with a creamy long lasting off-white head and light lacing. Nose of both floral and citrus hops. Medium in body. Touch of alcohol in mouth feel. Flavor is citrus and herbal. Finish is dry and bitter. Overall OK.

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke that we had together on facebook chat. This beer is almost clear and is amber gold. A one finger gold tinted head is attractive. A classic citrus aroma is sniffed first but then a little vegetable and pine on the second. Because I donít like that flavor it is dominating my taste buds. Citrus is under there and I wish it would move forward. The finished was a fizzy flourish that also brought tropical fruit. Not a favorite of mine but a solid beer.

Can. Pours a clear rusty copper gold pour with a small tight head. Nose is deep citrus with shades of pine and resin. Taste is bitter right up front, with more resin and pine that follows, the citrus has a grapefruit backbone. Finish is bitter with moderate lingering of the tasting notes. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Can. Pours a clear orange gold with a white head and aroma of hops and grapefruit. Taste is bitter up front, nice citrus, pine, hops, grapefruit notes with some caramel leading to a very bitter, dry finish. Enjoyable IPA

Bottle to pint. Very hoppy bitter for a single IPA. Not much else going on. Pretty standard stuff.

Pours a cloudy gold/Orange color. Smells of pine, hops, and alcohol. Tastes bitter and of alcohol with a lemony finish.

Herbal/grassy, piney and slightly flowery aroma, medium yellow/orange with a small white head. The aromas march directly into the flavor along with a nice light candy/honey sweetness that offsets the significant bitterness surprisingly well. That bracing bitterness really kicks in on the tongue and the back of the throat in a good way. Although this is definitely a hop lovers beer, itís quite easy drinking for an IPA at this level.

Very good IPA, smells of hops as soon as I popped the can, the pine/citrus was well balanced and not overbearing.
