COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Copper with an off-white head, leaves nice lacing. Aromas of grassy hops. Citrusy +piney hops with a good malt balance. Smooth but slightly sticky mouthfeel. Great IPA!

Pours a copper color with off white head. Aromas of spice, malt, light citrus, and grass. Flavor is sweet malt and citrus, some biscuit and a dry bitter spice and hoppy finish.

12 oz - nicely laced, wonderful head of white froth. Looks a little fizzy, but the malt is there. There’s nothing I’d change about this one.

Dark amber color, huge foamy head leaves lots of lacing. Pine aroma. Medium body, malty and sticky oily mouthfeel. Tastes pine, hops bitter. Pretty good.

Excellently smooth IPA. Had a draft half yard at the Yard House in SJ. Nice and strong without being overpowering.

Honey orange color, nice deep head (out of the bottle, that probably makes a difference). It leaves a lovely lacing on the glass. Aroma is serious pine hop, very resinous and pungent. The taste is equal parts spicy pine hops and earthy malt. It’s nothing revolutionary but it’s damn nice.

The appearance fuses a hazy orange color with a large off-white head that has a good retention, and the aroma is reminiscent of resin and floral hops the second your nose gets close to the rim of the glass. The taste is quite bitter, a touch sweet, and a touch sour, but the flavor doesn’t really balance as a large product; furthermore, the palate combines a sticky texture, bitter finish, soft carbonation, and a medium body.

Oh my! Nice white head and lacing, beautiful dark amber pour, medium texture, good medium hippy taste, nothing to not like here.

Pours a dark orange color with finger and a half tannish white head that goes down slowly and leaves a blanket of lacing. Smells of light grapefruit, some pine, some grass, oranges, a resinous quality to it, some light bready notes as well as some carmel sweetness. Taste is pretty much like the smell. It starts with grapefruit, oranges, and lemon. Then the malt comes in and balances the beer fairly well. Lots of sweet breadiness. Then the hops of the more bitter variety come back. Lots of resinous pine, as well as some grapefruit and oranges. Nice creamy and smooth mouthfeel to accompany the resinous hops. Medium body. The bitterness lingers after each sip. Wouldn’t mind getting this again. Decent ipa that comes in cans.
