3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle poured a slightly hazy orange hue w/ a frothy beige head and very nice lacing. Big aromas of grass, citrus, and hay. Initial light sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish of short duration. Taste is grapefruit and pine. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, and a warming alcohol dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Typical light coppery IPA pour with virtually no head and light white lacing. Nose is bitter hops and fruit, but not overly strong. Flavor brings the hops on fairly strong with a decent balancing malt and a touch of candy. Finish is fairly quick and mostly bitter. Solid IPA, but nothing you’ll remember a year from now.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazed amber golden IPA with a thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, nice grassy floral hops with light lemony notes. In mouth, super classic IPA with loads of citrusy floral hops, pink grapefruit notes, warming alcohol, very nice.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Respectable IPA. Pine and grapefruit aroma which carries over to flavor. Nice malt backbone (as foreshadowed by a beautiful copper color pour), coyly hidden under massive bitterness. As such, I disagree that this is a balanced IPA. It's West Coast style, old school, all the way.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a golden copper color. Slight off-white head with some lacing. Weak dry hop aroma. Medium body, balanced flavor of malt and hops. Slight dry caramel/roasted finish. Average - not bad, but not amazing. Drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pine, grass, and citrus fruit on the nose, along with subtle caramel notes. Clear dark orange with a mostly lasting, splotchy, white head. Bitter with a touch of malty sweetness. Medium body, lively carbonation, and finishes with aggressive yet quick, snappy hops that linger for quite some time.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From bottle. Dark copper color with about one finger of khaki colored, frothy head. Unremarkable nose. Smooth and balanced--a little grass with a dry finish. Very solid.
