COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Clear, deep amber-orange pour with a frothy off-white head. The aroma has orange rind with light pine and some faint cereal. It has a medium body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste is bittersweet with a relatively mild finish.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 In a 12oz bottle. Tangy sweet hop aroma. Huge nectarine-hop flavor. Finishes with sweetness, sweetness and more sweetness. Hops overwhelm the malts just like you?d expect in a booming West Coast-style IPA.

Had at a friends place while bottling home brew. Poured an amber color with a small white head. Aroma was lots of fresh citrus notes, grapefruit is light, some tropical notes of mangoes. Flavor was some pine hops, grass notes, and a nice sweet malt backing.

pours amber with off-white head. aroma of pine, cedar, grapefruit, lemons, orange and orange rinds, floral tones. tastes predominantly of citrus hops but with touches of pine. complemented with caramel malts. bursting with citrus flavors. palate is full, a little too carbonated, but still very drinkable.

ROGUE (2145) - Newark, Delaware, USA - SEP 21, 2013
12oz bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a thin off white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma has lots of fresh, piney, grapefruit hops. The taste has gobs and gobs of grapefruit, slight mango and a little bit of pine. Grapefruit is the dominating flavor here. The end palate leaves a lingering bitterness backed up by the caramel malts. Creamy feeling body with moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2014 Pours a clear light copper color. Decent tight head. Aroma is hoppy upfront with a grapefruit and orange peel note. Taste follows the Aroma with some hops bitterness hanging around. This is a great hop foreword beer. Medium mouth feel. Good price aswel $9 for a 6 pack

Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is fruit, pine and faint toffee. Well balanced, hop forward, average carbonation, medium bitter body and a long bitter finish. Great beer.

On tap at Palmer Place in Lagrange, IL. Orange amber brew with off white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit. Taste was moderate malt at the start with a hops profile that matched the aroma. No complaints here.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, sweet malt and some spice. Taste is bitter hops, citrus, some spice and finishes sweet. Medium bodied good carbonation. OK beer but would prefer another IPA.

Hoppy (of course!) , more so in the taste than in the nose. Piney, citrusy, mildly astringent, some malt. Deep golden color with off white foamy head. surprisingly smooth despite the hops snap.
