COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

Jus floral hyper aromatique à la sécheresse infinie. Les céréales se collent à l’amertume dans une longue finale. Frais et délicat.

Sample at Syracuse Beer Fest. Murky deep golden with a tight off-white head. Nice tropical fruit with some woodsy and spicy notes, fairly sticky caramel malt, a little phenolic (wet ash), interesting. Fruity, resinous, spicy and woodsy with fairly sticky caramel malt as a backbone; lightly sweet with firm bitterness and a long, caramel, spicy, pine, fruit finish.

Can from Binny’s. Slightly murky orange pour with a big pillowy white head. Lots of malt and pine in this. Clearly well made, but not really my style of IPA.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly opaque orange/brass with a frothy looking head and medium sediment in the bottle. Aroma has nice notes of orange citrus, bread, caramel, pine, and resin. Taste is balanced. Citrus and pine mixed with resin, and them bready caramel, and a medium, resiny aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation. A bit resiny in the mouth with a soft carbonation and dry finish. Overall a nice brew. Citrus and resin over top of a nice bready/caramel backbone.

Nov. 3, 2014; 12 oz. bottle. First sight of this in the area. Cloudy, amber pour. Underwhelming aroma. Heady, sticky lacing. Piney IPA with strong malt backbone & impressive bitterness. A winner.

Descent IPA. Aroma is a little lacking but it has a good hoppy flavor. Overall really solid.

Awesome pine citron aroma with spruce grapefruit orange rind and light biscuit malt flavors. Finishes on the bitter side of balanced. A total hop bomb for a single IPA. Drinks like a double. For me that is a good thing.

Bottled. Super hazy/chunky yellowed-brown with a giant, light tan head. Big pine cone aroma with sweet grapefruit and orange rind - generally heavy on the citrus fruits but with a definite spruce front end. Heavily bitter flavor, one that grows slightly in intensity through the flavor profile, will a little white malt backbone, but don’t kid yourself - this is hop centric, big time. A bit of white pepper in the finish, which ends just a touch watery (which, surprisingly, is a bit refreshing).
