3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours orange, white head....this is an IPA thatís relatively complex...not just bitter and dry, but floral, citrusy with a significant body to it. The bitterness is still there, and itís well places, but the other parts of the body are there as well. Less sessionable and better for one or two glasses because of the body. Very good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled 04/30/12: A toasty IPA with a lively, yet oily mouthfeel. Well-hidden alcohol, smelled and tasted lighter. Would be more quaffable -- not exactly sure why, however, maybe the palate. Overall, has a nice rural element to it, but that might be the label talking -- I really like the bottle and label. Iím use to those super citrus hop bombs and Iíve only driven through Utah so thatís what I meant by that, if that makes sense at all. Anyway, I liked it, enjoyed it, and would have another, but at another time.

Copper color. Lots of pine in the nose. A hint of gin. First taste is balanced, but a little too bitter. Good finish. A bit thin. Overall a good beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Serving: Draft at Fire Works Leesburg. It pours a hazy amber color with an off white, pillowy head. The nose has medium pine notes and not much else. The flavor has weak pine notes, a touch of tin, with a light malt backbone. A little weak in the flavor department. Somewhat surprising given the ratings itís gotten. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Run of the mill IPA in my opinion.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
aroma of pine/grapefruit gives way to an amazingly balanced hoppy ale with some nice malt and aromatic hop aftertaste. Could use just a bit more bittering hops but otherwise a great beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Copper pour with nice, creamy tan head. Aroma is of caramel and piney hops. Nice carbonation and a resinous mouthfeel. More of the piney hops with a solid, earthy malt backbone. Long bitter finish. Pretty solid IPA.

Fresh bottle via trade. Pretty nice IPA overall. Nice malt balance to the slightly sweet and slightly citrus hops. Medium bitterness. Pretty good.
