Pretty good IPA, but tamed on the hops compared to their CDA (or Black IPA). Light yellow/golden in color. Some kind of interesting hint of nuts and hemp. Overall a pretty good IPA. 12oz into a tulip. This is wonderful. Taste is piney, citrus, light grapefruit, and has some oragne splashes in there as well. Color is a deep ruby orange, looks nice. Such a smooth drinker, the hops seem to usher this one efforteslly down the pallate with ease. Head it bubbly and hovers as the brew settles. There is a bitterness in the aftertaste that is subtle yet defining of this quality brew, brings one back for more. More hops, more citrus, more pleasure. I had the pleasure of doing a tasting tour of Uintas brews at the ACBF in boston this past June. One of my highlights of the fest. Great stuff here.

Bottle marked 4/30/12. Pours with a crystal clear, medium golden orange hued body with a large, slightly off-white to bone hued head. Aromas are malty, bready, biscuit, caramel malt, pinenuts. Malt dominant aroma. Some floral, citrus, pine, grapefruit and light tamarind hop aromas. Low esters. Flavors are bready, malty, dry and lightly oxidized (odd). Malt forward, grassy, lavender. Medium bitter, some sweetness, overall bitter balance. Floral, citrus and pith. Quite a lot of toasted malt character with some biscuit notes. Overall a pretty reserved/traditional IPA. Low esters, some iced tea like flavors in the finish. Moderate to somewhat high carbonation, medium bodied.

Orange gold pour citrus nose. Hops linger throughout but not over done. Tasty overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle This was purchased at The Caboose in Ashland, VA. The ale poured a hazy orange. There was a nice head and frothy white head with lacing down the glass. . There is a strong apricot taste . There is nice floral taste that is detected at the finish. This is excellent IPA great appearance and the apricots make this a unique ale. The carbonation is average but creates a nice head.

Bottle: Pale golden color with a thick, creamy off-white head. Tons of very thick lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of citrus to florals with some caramel malt. Hop forward taste is mostly floral with some breadier malts. Nice hop flavor and not bitter.
