If they made beer cologne Ė and if they donít they should Ė this wouldnít be a bad place to start.

STYLE: American IPA

ABV: 7.3%

LOOK: Creamy head sits nicely atop a surprisingly clear amber, more vinegar than oil. Slow but persistent carbonation up the gut. I can tell already, the lacing, itís there.

NOSE: Classic West Coast IPA. Sugared grapefruit right away. Also orange. Also pineapple. And also nectarines. Thereís a wonderful little piney note, like if you took a citrus cocktail and stirred it with just a needle or two. Tempting and coy.

MOUTH: It canít replicate the nose, and thatís a shame because I had orgasmic hopes for a mouth parade. What I need here is some sweet honey tang and something that sticks in my gums for a minute. This, Iím afraid, is too light to be excellent. But not to get too caught up in the negatives, because there are some, letís cover the positives. Because there are just as many. Sharper pine without being overwhelming. Clever bitterness. And a nice malty gulp.

Hazy orange - gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is slightly soft but there is still decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, light creamy sweetness. Very nice orange and tangerine hop. Touch of citric peel bitterness. Spicy pine finish. Citric peel linger. Really like the juicy rich citrus here.

Sampled from bottle @ ChrisOís after GBBF Day 1. Clear light orange-golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, again a bit old hops, hops, old a bit stale fruityness. Tastes about the same: malts, old hops, a bit stale fruityness, bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Decent but fresh it could and should be much better.

On tap at the Adirondack Hotel on Long Lake (Long Lake, NY). Beautiful cloudy, golden/orange body with a thin, lasting, white creamy head. Wonderful hoppy aroma with malty, mango, citrusy, and herbal hints. Its sharp, well balanced hoppy taste carries grapefruit, mango, and herbal notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Awesome!

Out of a can hazy dull orange/amber small off white head. Lots of deep rich citrus and piney resinous hop flavors. Sturdy malt body. Big and serious.

Light notes of hops and citrus. Light and watery upfront but the hops hit you in the end. Medium mouthfeel. Bottle.

Nice and hoppy but not a complexity of hops. I'm not seasoned enough to pick out which variety of hops they use but kind of one dimensional.
