COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

On tap at my local hang out. Sold as Hop Notch, but apparently its the same thing. Served in a shaker pint. Poured orange with a slight haze and a one finger white head. Good amount of lace. Heavy pine resin and grapefruit aroma. Taste also features a good amount of sharp hop bite. Mostly pine and citrus. Malts are there, but they’re hiding under the bed, in fear of their lives. Full in the mouth with a resinous coating on the tongue. Finish is quite bitter. Been drinking a lot of this lately.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2013 Pours a murky amber with a slight white head and oodles of lacing. Citrusy resiny west coast classic nose. Flavors of orange, pine and bong water. Medium bodied with a long hoppy, but not overly bitter, finish. A fine single IPA.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours copper with a small head. The aroma is caramel, orange rinds, and some earthy notes. The flavor is pleasantly bitter, with a good malt backbone. The palate is light to medium and uneventful. This is a good IPA, but doesn’t really stand out.

A nice dry style. Full nectar with superb carbonation. A big hop profile is balanced by a dense malt entrapment. Straightforward and to the point.

Bottle. Pour is orange with a nice yellow head, good retention/excellent lace. Aroma of pine/citrus/melon hops, caramel. Taste is moderately bitter, floral/pine hops, light malt sweetness. Palate is drier, oily, very bitter finish. Very good.

Good. Aromas of grassy malt with citrus and pine hops. Nice color and average-weight palate. Nice malt background to support citrus hop flavors.

Shared from cans into Duvel goblets, thanks Scott! It poured a mostly-clear golden colour, some chill haze, with sudsy white foam which quickly dissipated. Fairly neutral grainbill, just a hint of caramel sweetness, definitely a hops-forward balance. Strong hoppy bitterness, flavour and aroma. Struck me a mostly a Columbus which cuts right through anything, contributing resiny character too, but supplemented with some other fruitier and citrusier varieties. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, well-concealed alcohol, dry finish with lingering hoppy aftertastes. Good stuff.

Hop nosh is a brassy hazy beer with a fine head of small white bubbles. the Aroma is of floral hops and a bit of natural sweetness. Taste is more natural sweetness on the front with a bit of hop bite. The body is fluid and lively. a very nice beer.
