Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours transparent orange. Aroma is cantaloupe. Flavors are Hawaiian fruit, pine, bitter finish. A really good offering. No carbonation bite.

Bottle from New Frontier Market, Eugene. Pours a golden orange, some white head. Nose crisp and citrusy, just a hint of pine. Body full and lively, finish has a resiny bitterness, but really complex, a tangy sweetness as well. Surprised at how much is going on, especially for the price. Not to be slept on.

Pint pour of oerfectly golden elixir with a full faint off white head. Nose is hop forward, citrus and deep tropical like fruits. Mild biscuit like malt. Flavor is fairly hop forward as well with deep citrus and tropical fruit. Medium body with nice hop lingering finish. Clean and well done.

Light, bright orange color with small white head and nice lacing. Aroma has wonderful, huge, citrusy hops. Flavor is super bitter, then sweet, with grapefruit and pine, and a woody malt finish. Love it all around. Pretty good price too.

12oz bottle poured into a tumbler glass. Hazy light amber color with a small but steady head and nice lace. Piney spicy nose with lots of caramel malt and marmalade. Sweet malt flavor, candied citrus peels, high bitterness and juicy hop flavors. Full body, long bitter finish, some alcohol and not so easy to drink.

hey good beer from Utah who knew? had a six pack of cans, most of which drank right from the can but poured enough out to see orange amber color and bright white head. Aroma is citrus zest, perticularly grapefruit with just some malt sweet and honey. Taste is stronger bitter than i like but it just works. makes my mouth feel like i had botton balls in it. Still eays to drink and refreshing for an over 7%abv.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Bottled on 5/31/2012. A - Great dark amber body. Very clear with tons of rising bubbles. 3 finger high off white head settles down to a one finger high cap. Nice amount of lacing. S - Grapefruit and spice. Its actually pretty amazing how this beer blends together the sweetness and the juiciness off the hops with some bready and spicy malts. T - Juicy grapefruit, orange juice, bready caramel malt and a spicy finish. Aftertaste is just amazingly grapefruit heavy. Not overly aggressive but it has a nice bitterness to it. Mouth feel is slick and coating. O - A nice IPA. Not the best, but damn tasty and refreshing. Really hits the grapefruit notes but still maintains a nice malt backbone.

Bottle poured into my tulip glass. Nice tangerine nose, pours clear orange. Good bitter taste with some citrus flavors. Good body and very enjoyable beer all around.
