Citrussy, lemon hops with hints of grapefruit on the aroma. Pours a light gold with almost no foam. Leafy/earthy hop taste with a nice grapefruit finish. Fair amount of carbonation with a decent hop flavor. Overall, a pretty decent India Pale Ale with a moderate hop taste. C+ rating

Solid IPA that was bit more on orange-citrus side than the spicy side. Orange-colored with floral hop nose. The taste was well balanced - strong citrus with grass and bread in there too. easy to drink. Very passable IPA.

Bottle. Pours a nice deep orange with a medium white head that dissipated quickly, nice lacing though. Nose is slightly malty, but then pineapple and resinous hops. Medium bodied and surprisingly fresh tasting for a bottle of IPA that is probably 2 months past its prime (bottled in August of 2012), with some grapefruity notes mingled with the malts and some tropical fruit, then a lingering bitter finish. Nice IPA.

Bottle. I usually end up rating about the same as everyone else, but I am far from think this is a 97. Maybe I will have to try again, but this one was unforgettable and the taste was slightly off...maybe the heavy malt profile instead of hops? Nope this one was not for me.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured cloudy, copper in color with an off white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is malty, lots of caramel notes combined with some citrus fruit notes. Taste is sweet and malty, mildly bitter towards the end. It sweetness makes itís very drinkable for an IPA.

12 oz bottle, Whole Foods Columbus. Copper-amber pour, lovely thick pillowy white head dissipates into a medium ring and retains gobs of lacing down the glass. Aroma exhibits lots of pine and citrus, bready. Flavor grassy, caramel, sharply bitter. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, almost silky; nice. I donít think the malt -quite- stands up to the hops here and so I think this is a nice beer but I donít find the balance to be quite right. Tasty, though.
