Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

On tap Orangish amber with slight white head. Fruity aroma, wither the fruitiness mixing decently with the hops for a refreshing summer IPA. Citrus remains in aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from bottle, darker orange, slightly hazy. Small head. Aroma of grass, hops, citrus. Taste had no sweetness, but a combination of hop bitterness and malts. Too bitter for my taste, but not bad, although it doesn’t stand out among IPAs I’ve had.

Enjoy by 6/20/13 on bottle. Bready malt, honeyed florals and mild orange citrus seems to dominate the aroma, with bitter herbs and grapefruit driving the flavor on the palate. Relatively big and full bodied, with pleasant, spicy, herbal bitterness. Mildly lingering finish of grapefruit citrus and subtle malt. Good. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Poured from a 12oz. bottle into a Harpoon tulip glass. The color is a golden orange with a finger of foamy white head and some nice stringy lacing left on the glass. The smell is citrus flavor all the way with some of that nice hoppy aroma. The nose is full of the slightly dank hops with some slight green grass aroma. Grapefruit is here but also tangerine and a touch of lemon. The taste gets a tad bitter at first but then the citrus flavor comes and washes over the tongue pushing off the bitterness and letting some earthy, green grass flavor come in. There is tangerine in the flavor but not as pronounced as in the nose. There is a slight bready flavor in the background and there is also touch sweetness that last through the bitterness that comes back at the end. This beer has a pretty drinkable feel and is medium bodied to give it enough of a feeling like this beer has substance but is still pretty light for the ABV.

Bottle. Pretty good IPA. Some citrus tastes up front. Not too bitter and has a mild aftertaste. Not a lot of malt flavor.

Excellent! Pour is an amber/golden (SRM~8) color with medium size off white head. Aroma tropical fruit and peach. Taste is all about the hops, lots of tropical fruit flavors, some pine, plenty of bitterness. Malt is present to back up the hops but does not get in the way. I need more of this one.

Bottle pours copper with nice white head. Aroma is grassy, citrus, piney resinous caramel. Taste is caramel, resinous, pine, citrus, grassy. Medium body solid hop bitterness with good malt backbone. Nice beer.

Good but these day an IPA by any other name is... well... an IPA. Good but there are SO many available.

Pours a clear medium golden with a nice sized white head composed of small bubbles. Smells of light floral hops. Creamy and a bit sweet in the mouth with a bitter hop kick at the finish. A bit sweeter than I like my IPAs, but not at all bad as the bitter hops complement the sweetness nicely.

Beautiful orangey-gold with creamy, though brief, white head. Aroma of pine needles and sweet malt. Resinous evergreen flavors which carry on into the finish. Absolutely nothing to dislike about this IPA and much to love. However, a bit more complexity would not harm this beer.
