COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Hop Notch. Wonderful complex flavos, like no other, simply a great tasting IPA. It’s balanced, strong malt backbone, citrusy nose, with hints of pine and grass.

On tap @ Public House in Vegas. Hazy deep orange amber, lacy head. Floral hops mingle with sweet malts on the nose. Crunchy cereal malts support intense hop structure that is more piney and earthy than the nose suggests. Long bitter finish. Very good.

Not my type of IPA. Has very earthy and slightly floral smell very similar to Hoppyum IPA. Strong on the malts, mild on the hops, with decent bitterness and sweetness. Decent but won't buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled from a bottle. Pours amber colour with a white head. Fruity, hoppy aromas, and a taste of mango, citrus and pine from American hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Very nice, fruity pale ale.

Bottle@home, from Wine Spot, Cleveland, USA. Medium, bold, organic and complex aroma of slightly overaged mango and a hint of parfymic notes. Copper color with small/medium white head and medium hazy liquid. Medium, slightly bitter taste of overaged mango, pine, citrus and hops. Some malts can be recognized and a hint of earthy flavors. Balanced with medium taste spectrum and long hoppy aftertaste with sweet malts. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, clearly American style IPA but in very organic, earthy fashion. Good.

BBD 11/17/15. Cloudy medium amber pour. World class head volume, lacing and retention. Very good nose of floral hops, light rind, pine and caramel. As it warms, a hint of dank is detected. Light body that is slightly smooth. Normal carbonation level with a hint of effervescence in the middle and a bit more in the finish. Very nice flavor profile that approaches outstanding. Hop flavors are the main focus coupled with mild bitterness. A nice biscuit and caramel provide exceptional balance from the middle on. Pine and orange rind are the dominate flavors with a hint of spicy spruce towards the finish. Alcohol remains well covered until it appears in the lingering finish of pine and orange rind.

The commercial deScription sums this beer up perfectly. Good malts to back the great citrus and pine flavours. The bitterness is kept in check, and the alcohol is very well hidden. Solid ipa.

As far as ipas go this was a good example. However i am not a big fan of ipas so im a bit biased against it. Poured a pale yellow with very little head. Taste was of grapefruit with other citrus undertones. A strong bitterness but a little flat long finish.

Aroma - hoppy aroma of pine, with some citrus, sweet fruit mango/pineapple, floral qualities, as well a caramel malt. Appearance - hazy orange w/ a white head. Taste - piney hops and grapefruit Palate - medium body, lively carbonation, and a big hop finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
